Wow.. what a live performance tonight on that KEXP show, I'm going to go as far as saying they were some of Liam's best live vocals since the 2000's. As the band have stated they built the album around Liam's vocals and my good has it paid off live, there is hardly any strain in Liam's voice and he's singing every word, when Three Ring Circus kicked in tonight I thought they were playing the album version to start with!
Just hope he can take it in to the proper gigs now and not start shouting just because he is infront of a big audience. Never thought I'd hear him sing like that again. Bring on tomorrow sessions!
How would every one else rate tonight's vocals compared to his 00 live vocals?

Best vocals in years, no doubt about that!!
He was actually singing and holding the notes! Hope he will do this at the gigs as well in stead of shouting the last wordt of every sentence out and stepping away from the mic as in the latest tours..

When he says "Oh Noooooo" on "tbgo" I felt the old liam from the mid 90's for the 1st time since then. It gave me shivers. So Fuckin Sick! What a champ.

Don't get overexcited, he always sounded good on radio sessions and TV performances (wonderwall radio aid 2005, guess god thinks i'm abel 2005, I'm outta time 2008: , etc.). Chances are the quality of his voice will sharply decrease when he does bigger gigs (like in 2005, like in 2008).

His vocals now sound like from 2001 or something..very impressed. But as someone said after a few gigs his voice will decline. It always happens with liam, look at the rehersal gig from 2008, he sounded great..but as he toured he declined big time. Same with 2005 tour. :/

It's because he's singing and not shouting. As long as he sings and doesn't think he needs to yell over the louder music at gigs, he'll be fine......

Cheater. it's a live performance, not the recording. this was the first time i heard the songs that haven't been released by the band. got a problem with that?

The only way he actually can do the new songs justice is to sing it in the same way he done it yesterday, ofcourse there will be some occasionally bad nights, like almost every singer has. But this new variety of live tunes will be amazing for liam to sing live, not just the rock belters of oasis.

He sounds about 20 years younger on TBGO, absolutely fantastic. There is not a single moment where you think his voice should be better.

Maybe only in Millionaire where he does the millionai-aire in two takes.. But that's really a futility. I am OVER IMPRESSED with his voice I hoped and thought it would be better than 2005, but thought it would be more like his best nights on the last tour. But what I hear now is a lot better than I expected it to be!

Fucking hell! It sounds like playback! It's that good!
Now THIS is Liam. I get the feeling Noel wasn't the only one getting tired of Oasis! Liam changes bandnames and has more controls over the band and there you go! Top form!

I wouldnt be excited either. He has a well rested voice in a controlled environment.
He did sound good though but please wait till tour to pass judgement
