DBTT is a very "even" album. It has perhaps less stand-out tracks than any other Oasis album, but the quality of the weaker tracks are much better than the likes on SOTSOG, HC and DOYS. It's a nice 60s pop/rock record, but personally I prefer the more colourfully produced and more powerful DOYS. You are absolutely right, my Swedish friend! DBTT is the most even Oasis album since WTSMG with LLAB as the only disappointment (too much Per Gessle, you'll know what I mean!). DGSS is not as even, but clearly has a similar sound. There is, however, more standout tracks on DGSS and overall, I think it's better than DBTT. But DBTT flows better, so it's a difficult choice.

The songwriting is stronger on DBTT, but the awful production lets it down. So as a listening experience DGSS wins, although I'd have to argue that DBTT contains better songs and melodies. \ this DBTT songwriting >> DGSS DGSS production >> DBTT
