No it's released a day earlier than planned..
Radiohead are releasing their new album 'The King Of Limbs' today (February 18).
The follow-up to 2007's 'In Rainbows' had been scheduled to come out tomorrow (19), but the band decided to bring the release date forward by 24 hours. It's being sent to those who pre-ordered it at Thekingoflimbs.com.

Morning Mr Magpie sounds totally different from the christmas webcast version they did a few years ago.
As a whole, the blippy electronic sound is close to The Eraser and These Are My Twisted Words.
Godrich is a genius.

I just finished my first listen.Their music is very, very good and transcendental, but his voice is really distracting in my opinion. The album sounds more like his solo album really....i expected more...it is definitely good, but not THAT good...but i only heard it once..

First impression: Don't like it. Listening to The Bends again, now that's a fucking great album.

I rarely listen to The Bends these days...
When you're in the right mood for it, it's a fantastic album. But if you listen to it in the wrong mood, it's a bit hystronic and suffocating I've found.
Like Jeff Buckley's Grace.

Didn't like Lotus Flower, it's shit, on past albums it would be a filler.

eh its alright. I really loved In Rainbows. It was my second favorite by them after The Bends. They kinda moved a little more towards the Amnesiac type of stuff. Separator, Codex, Lotus Flower, Little By Little are all pretty great. I just think this band has too much talent to be wasted on this minimalistic, looped, electronic beeping shit. About half of it is great and half of it is just them fucking around. I just wish the band didn't try so hard. It sounds labored. I've only listened to it 3 times but I'm not that impressed. Perhaps the first disappointment of 2011 for me. But as most radiohead album i can't really properly judge it after a such a short period of time.

Bloom and Feral are really good.
The rest of the opening 5 songs are decent enough.
Last three songs = ewww In Rainbows

They kinda moved a little more towards the Amnesiac type of stuff. Nothing on this is even close to the standard of Packt, Pyramid Song, I Might Be Wrong, Dollars & Cents, Spinning Plates or Glasshouse. Or even Fog or Worrywort. Man these guys were really good ten years ago.

It does sound like them fucking around and that pissed me off.

Heard it 2 times and dind't like it, sounds too labored, these computer beeps are geting very stale and Thom is only mumbling here and there, I did like Give Up The Ghosts, but all in all theres nothing memorable like Pyramide Song or Idioteque.
