I think the songs i were most pleasently suprised by were the ones we hadn't heard the best bits of. Wind Up Dream and Three Ring Cirucs sounded awful on the clips but i think Three Ring Circus is up there with my favourites.
On the other hand the clips made me think Kill For A Dream would be a lot better than it is. I think its a really good song and it would probably be up there with my favourites if i was hearing it all for the first time.
I think on Millionaire i found myself waiting for the part on the 30 second clip and that made it a lot better for me. I expected The Beat Goes On and The Morning Son to be great from the clips and they lived up to expectations. Still undecided on Wigwam, i wasn't overly impressed by the peview like some, i think its a great song but could have been a lot better.
So do you think the clips effected which songs you like/dislike?

Just like you, I also thought Wind Up Dream and Three Ring Circus were gonna be awful and they certainly are not. Specially Three Ring Circus, what a tune! Also agree on Kill For A Dream. It is a good song but I don't think they explored the song's entire potential. The preview made me think it was gonna be epic but it's not.
All the other ones lived up to expectations.

I still think it's a shame I heard the previews... I lost the element of surprise by hearing those previews... BTW, I didn't really like TBGO en TMS when hearing the previews, but now those 2 are my favorites.
I really liked TRC, it turned out to be really good. I also really liked Wigwam, it also turned out really good, even though it's not as good as TMS.
I disliked BAS and WD, those songs positively surprised me.
Actually it's fair to say that almost every song turned out better than expected ;-). (Except maybe Wigwam, but only because I had really, really high expectations of that one, still a class tune though)

The songs, for the most part, turned out much better than the previews. I agree, WUD sounded like it would be a complete dud, but it turned out to be a decent enough tune.
The only one that disappointed me was Kill for a Dream, too. The melody of the verses and chorus is beautiful. but I hate the guitar interludes. It also should have been able to have been built up better at the conclusion, instead of the na nas. It didn't realize it's potential. Good song, to be sure, but not as good as it could have been

I wish they hadn't leaked. Would be great to listen to the album not knowing what to expect. Some brilliant parts on the album didn't blow me away when I listened to it because I already knew them too well.
