Yeah I've noticed a lot of echoes/slap back and double tracking on Liams vocals. But this is just standard procedure in recording vocals nowadays. John Lennon loved double tracking his voice. I assume this is why Liam likes to do the same lol.

He sounds good. Not great, but good. He is definitely reaching positive vibes with his singing on the album. That's why I think Liam is very, very talented singer and it proves on the record.

the technology has improved I fully agree. If his voice has improved, than he should prove it LIVE on stage!

I assume this is why Liam likes to do the same lol. Yeah, I mean I love vocal effects most of the time. The slapback on Elvis's vocals on Heartbreak Hotel is legendary. But I guess there's also the subconscious factor of knowing Elvis could sing like a legend when you heard that record, but we have no idea what Liam will sound like live. If he pulls off every song and sounds great, then that's fantastic and I'll gladly eat my words.
