After Noely G releases his album, what would people prefer, Beady Eye and Noel to carry on separate or an Oasis reformation?
(i understand none of us have heard noels stuff, but we all know how good it will be)

You go your way, and I'll go mine.
I vote no Oasis reunion, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher giving us quality tunes each one separately.

I'd much prefer an Oasis 8th album, as long as the lads are having fun making it. That seems to have been the biggest difference between DGSS and DOYS. Also, Noel would need to let LAG's better tunes on albums and scrap ideas like the shit TNOR.
The more I think about DOYS - and I do like it - the more it dawns on me Oasis were starting to get stale, epitomized best by their attitudes on stage. Maybe this break and the separate projects were good for both parties. Liam and the lads seem more passionate, young, and fresh - haven't seen that since 2005 during the DBTT tour (which had to be the best time for Oasis post their 90s heyday).
But as long as BDI are making music in this catchy, melodic vein, and Noel can craft his solo magnum opus, then I'm more than happy with that, too.

I would like an Oasis reunion just not anytime soon as the breakup would seem some what false.
Id like to see 2 more Beady Eye albums and 2 Noel albums before they even look at reunion tours

It worked for Lennon & Wings. I'm up for a reunion but not for a long time.

No reunion for now, please. I wasn't a fan of latter day Oasis, seemed so obvious they were on different pages. I want to see where BDI and Noel go...

As much as I want to, I don't think Oasis will ever reunite again.

I think musically it is best for both to release music seperately, then you can make a playlist of the two brothers' outputs and imagine it's an Oasis album without having to see them on stage together like they were in the DOYS tour towards the end, which was a bit sad

imagine being at the first 'reunion gig' and Liam+Noel blast out Acquiesce. that'd be mindblowing. still not likely..

i cant see them getting back together and making albums again down the road when they will be much older. It's going to be hard imagining Oasis - reunited or not - when the members, and the Gallagher's in particular, hit their 50s. Oasis always embodied and captured the spirit of youth. It's a bit sad to see them aging - kind of like the sun setting on an era.

Think of the last tour they did as the reunion tour. Then move on with your lives.

I don't want Oasis to get back together. They were at their best in their youth, and are now much better suited to their own projects. I would, however, love to see one album with writing credits to Gallagher/Gallagher. Don't care so much about the others, but one album where Noel and Liam actually collaborated would be great.

Gotta disagree with that - unlike Damon Albarn or Jarvis Cocker, say, the Gallaghers are remarkably alike to their mid 1990s selves. They're literally unscathed. I don't think they captured the spirit of youth - and I was 16 in 1995. They captured the MOMENT, yes - but fucking everyone loved them, from indie kids, to Mums, to Grans, to brickies, the lot. If anything they unified!

(and if anything, I would LOVE to go to an Oasis gig with Noel, Liam, Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan White - the Oasis I fell in love with in spring 1995). I got to see that lineup once, on the Be Here Now tour.
That reunion is MY dream!

The bigger Beady Eye get the less likely a reunion is ever going to happen. But if Noel gets up off his lazy hole I'd be quite content.
