I feel that This Song is the one that will put "BDI" on the Map in the U.S. tunes like this are the ones that americans will eat up. I hope this is the next single for commercial success in the states and Canada this one can do chart damage. The only other song that will crack the U.S market on this record is "For Anyone". I think "the beat goes on" is a bit over the top to be a hit. Its like "All around the world" on Crack...its a but much imo.

I don't think KFAD wouldn't make the charts in Alaska. This song has solid lyrics but lacks the catchiness Americans require. By catchiness, I mean retarded monotonous lyrics that require a certain house beat that calls for everyone to thrust in a "f*ck me" way. Bring the Light is actually a great sex song. Tried it out, it's awesome. America will listen to Beady Eye when Auto-tune become sacrilege and NYC drowns in it's own pretentiousness.

KFAD will not make the charts in Canada either. Canadians want some rocker tunes. If Oasis do not crush the charts in North America, what makes you think Beady Eye will?

Oasis are not Beady Eye first off. And Secondly, are you guys deaf? This song has a the most potential. Frankly its the Most Radio friendly song on the album next to for anyone. Give it up guys, they aint going anywhere else with the other songs as far as radio play in North America. I bet you all that "kill for a dream" is a single if not the next. U 2 who posted above me know fuck all about what works on hurting shit commercial radio. This is the song that appeals to the mainstream audiences. Its not my fav. But its the truth.

Sorry, I'm not trying to offend you guys but look. I'm talking about stations like 104.5fm. The stations that play coldplay and nickelback. That garbage

perhaps it would crash the top 100, but just cause you can top the top 100 with 10.000 copys in a week these days

I thought Beady Eye is 4/5 Oasis. lol. Anyways, Over the next couple months with New releases of albums and singles from The Strokes and Radiohead, etc, will over shadow KFAD if released. For Anyone is the most friendly song. I can see For Anyone doing well over here in the charts, even though its not a rocker tune. But after that, Beady Eye will not be well received in North America. Sorry to say it.

That garbage But that is where these Beady Eye songs will be played. Shit, they Champagne Supernova on the soft rock stations in Canada here, right after a Nickelback song. Honestly, the first time I heard KFAD, I thought of Nickelback song.

It is a really mediocre song for me.A mixture of nickelback's song and jet's bring it on back on the chorus.
It sounds like the ultimate ''write yourself an rock ballad in ten minutes'' and it is the kind of song that new songwriters write and then dismiss, because you have already heard that kind of melody a hundred times before.
The lyrics and the sweet outro, save it from being a complete disaster.

honestly, i think wind up dream would be a better fit over here state side. its got more of a beat to it, no so much repetitive like the guitar in kill for a dream. then hit them with something quick and catchy like millionaire.

It couldn't be more mediocre. Probably the most middle of the road tune anyone associated with Oasis has ever been involved in. The lead guitar sounds awful on it too.

What they need to do is hit the late shows when they come through the states & get one of these tunes in a movie soundtrack & i think they have as good a chance as any band of getting noticed

not
a
chance.
decent song, that's it. and the droning, repetitive guitar would have most switching the dial.

Sorry but Beady Eye won't crack America unless they have significant airplay and promotion over there, something which neither the label nor the band have any interest in making happen. It was the same for Oasis post 97. They could've had some mega hits in America (Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Lyla, I'm Outta Time) if they had recieved more airplay and promotion. Sadly they didn't. And Liam and Noel's attitude didn't help. They really had no interest in doing talk shows or promotion over there, and it hurt their rep over there badly.
Their music is good enough to make them big, just look at how many of their songs have been used in American adverts, TV shows and films. It shows that Americans do have a taste for their brand of music, it's just 90% of the population have never even heard of them due to lack of promotion or airplay.

My guess would be that Wind Up Dream would do a lot better in the US of A.

Seems to be that if you want to crack America you need to make it a priority...Oasis never did and I doubt BDI will either.
They never treated it as any different from any other country and the American media likes to be catered to.

As an American, whenever I ask anyone about their opinions on Oasis, all they've ever heard of is Wonderwall and maybe Champagne Supernova. No other Oasis song has been played on radio here in a long time (Maybe live forever). What makes you think Beady Eye will crack America?
