This is getting bloody ridiculous. Why does every last thing get compared on here? What does it achieve exactly?
Just take things for what they are!

There are a few good tracks on Déjá Voodoo, but it's not as solid as DGSS is as an album. Comparisons can be drawn between SOTEOTN and Chinese Burn by Heavy Stereo. That's my opinion anyway! I haven't listened to Hurricane #1 yet, but I've heard a bit of Ride, they were quite good.

Yeah, i get that much. I just don't see the need to compare everything, it's ridiculously pointless. All three bands are/were totally different.

I'll spell it out then. Beady Eye is Hurricane #1 march 2. That's not a bad thing tho ..I fucking love h#1. I just wanted to know if people thought Andy's songwriting had improved since then.

Well why not start a thread asking if Andy Bell's songwriting had improved then?
Mind boggling.

Hurricane #1 self-titled is amazing. Kill for a Dream is that good it could almost be on it.

I always thought Heavy Stereo's best song was "Sleep Freak." BDI should remake it and put it out as a B-side. Hey, why not have the next three B-sides cover versions of Heavy Stereo, Hurricane #1, and Oasis songs? That way, they can claim they're cover versions but they'd receive the songwriting royalties, sans Liam because he should cover a Noel sung/written composition. Ha!
