Yeah I think it's my favorite song. Wow. I love the intro...it's the meaning of soul with an actual melody.

Am I the only one who thinks the chorus sounds like the "we live a dying dream" part in Falling Down?

Am I the only one who thinks the chorus sounds like the "we live a dying dream" part in Falling Down? wow now that you mention it, it kinda does. Song didnt sound that amazing from the previews, but after hearing the whole song i've come to reallllllly like this song. With that being said, I still think its one of the weaker tracks on the album, but that just shows how amazing the album is...

It's good, but what's up with the Proud Mary intro?

I don't like it. The verses are cringe-worthy. That being said, I like the weird little effect in the second verse and near the end that kind of sounds like a frog choking. And the harmonica as well, reminds me of the old Oasis shows, loved the harmonica.

A decent tune, but at about 2 minutes I get bored. It needs to be 45-60 seconds shorter as it sort of ran out of ideas otherwise it would be up there as one of the best on side one of the record.

^ It seems like some members would prefer the album to be about 20 minutes with all 13 songs I really love WUD, my favorite "up-tempo" song on the album.

Much better than I thought it would be based on the previews. It's pretty solid in all honesty.

It's good, but what's up with the Proud Mary intro? Damn it! I was gonna post that earlier but you beat me to the punch! I have to admit though, this song has grown on me quite a bit. I liked it ok at first, but now the chorus has got me - I think it could be Gem's best effort on the album along with "The Roller."

And only off Wind Up Dream, Kill For A Dream & The Morning Son. I still love the album....7.5-8/10 for me.

funny & nice to see that comments cause everyone used to say that it was the worst track (from previews)!

Am I the only one who thinks the chorus sounds like the "we live a dying dream" part in Falling Down? I was just about to write the same, lol. I think the song is alright, but not the best on the album.
