After a few listens I feel that this album is above average and a success simply on the fact that these boys are coming out from the shadows of one of the greatest bands and great songwriters.
They Passed the grade for me.

I'm not going to get to much into individual songs but this album is like led zep meets the beatles on a road trip down to New Orleans while smoking a spliff..long and disoriented but that's not a bad thing.

Its got soul. It lacks noels genius choruses but still decent. For example "kill for a dream starts amazing then kinda loses its power come chorus time. Some of the songs drag on too long but the soul and groove of the tracks make up for it. This album has spirit and I'm happy and proud of the boys.

Its a solid 3.5/4 outta 5.

I end with this... "For Anyone" is the song I know 20 years from now I will still be singing. Its the best on the album for me. I call it "Songbirds baby Sister". In the summer sun laying on the grass with my girl. This is the song I love. Anyways, thank you to all of you on this forum, you guys make me laugh and cheer everyday. The passion that oasis and beady eye bring out of us is truly special. The love for these bands breaks all racial divide and land barriers as we all join forces for the love of the music. Let's enjoy this until our next chapter. Noel...off to you...
