I hate the fact people in this forum bring down Liam and his songwriting,,, I think he writes beautiful songs,,, and in my book wrote the best 3 songs in the album. I like Andy's songwriting too and maybe is more of a sure thing,,, no Aint Got Nothings,,, but when Liam hits it.... its out of the park imo.

Well, Gem said on another interview they only had the first 3 by december and they wrote the rest as they went. No that was them re-working the songs and recording them together.

Andy & Gem on japanese mag interview
"Bring the Light" "Three Ring Circus" "The Beat Goes On" are brand (whole) new songs. And other songs/parts were written for several years. After Oasis Split, They first started 3 songs demo. 3 songs are Millionaire, Beatles and Stones & The Roller. and By Christmas They had 6 songs demo.
And Liam says on same japanese mag interview, The Roller had been recorded, at Oasis era. But perhaps Noel did not like it.

I believe it. these songs sound like parts of songs. what a shame they couldnt write more lyrics.
they should rename the band REPEATER

That Japanese magazine is definitely at least partially wrong. Liam's said multiple times that The Morning Son could be about Noel because it was written after the band split.

Can anyone confirm with a quote?
