One thing I thought about, that I think seems a bit strange: Let's hypothetically say that I am Andy Bell in ~2008. I have a couple of tunes that I'm going to demo and give to Noel for the next record. If I then (as we have speculated) had 4LW, TBGO and KFAD - would I even consider bringing TNOR into a bulk consisting of 4-5 songs?

All the hate for noel ffs! how can comparing Noel's tunes to TBGO be translated as "noel hate"?

"Now I'm wondering on what drugs Noel was on when he picked up for DOYS and HC songs like"
"Noel didnt use them because Noel always had to have the best songs on an oasis album..simple."
"Yea, The Beat Goes On would cast a shadow on a big chunk of Noel's work"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All that is complete bullshit in my opinion.

Andy has always written good songs for Oasis, right from HC. Thank You For The Good Times was omitted for A Quick Peep on that album for no real reason (even though Thank You For The Good Times isn't great, it's still better than that pointless track). He wrote Turn Up The Sun and Keep The Dream Alive for DBTT (two of the best three songs on that album, the third best being The Importance Of Being Idle) and he stated in interviews that he presented Noel with 5 songs for DOYS and he felt that Noel chose the weakest of the 5 (The Nature Of Reality)...and he seemed a bit annoyed about that the 2 or 3 times I heard/read him mention it. And he has written the best song on DGSS, along with Four Letter Word which is up there. Kill For A Dream is alright, pretty bog-standard ballad but it's quite moving. What was the other song he wrote for DGSS? Millionaire wasn't it?

Andy wrote Millionaire? Well well well....I wrote on another thread that I thought his songs were easily the weakest on the album, but this one is, for me, the best. Nice one Andy. But the other tunes are still pretty lame in my opinion
