for some reason i feel like i should wait for the release. not sure why. i downloaded it but it feels anticlimatic suddenly to listen to it as a leak. like its spoiling it. anyone else feeling this way?

Everyone's free to do what they want, but you have to have a gaping vagina to listen to 3 songs and stop. Seems kinda crazy to do that.

Everyone's free to do what they want, but you have to have a gaping vagina to listen to 3 songs and stop. Seems kinda crazy to do that. No offense meant. How can you have "gaping vagina" and "no offense" in the same post? It's like "I humped yer ma" and "Merry Christmas". |

No offense meant. ha.. wow. no offense taken. keyboard warriors are comical at best. anyway i didnt stop listening and run and clutch the bible. i had to take a break and may go back, its just lacking the full experience of liner notes etc. i know there are two school of thoughts on this, but i enjoyed the albums i waited for more.. hearing half of heathen chemistry before i got the album kind of ruined it at first. and then DBTT i didnt listen to any and it blew my socks off. to each their own |

For some reason I just really wanted to use "gaping vagina" tonight and this seemed like the best opportunity. I didn't want to get into an internet battle, so i tried to play it cool. He has a good sense of humor so no harm done  |

Not this old chestnut again. Firstly tons of people download albums as mp3's now so dont worry about the 'smell' of the insert and a few arty pictures of the band. As long as you'll buy the album when its out i dont see the problem. Just think it was released 2 weeks early or something. Its not anti-climatic at all, quite the opposite, huge excitement as you realise its leaked, then that magical first listen and then of course chatting to everyone about favourite songs etc. Its all about the music to me, dont care so much for the insert. All my BDI tickets for the tour have arrived, pre ordered a t shirt, pre ordered the album. Dont mind one bit that i'm listening to it early |

lol i did that with DOYS. I had already listened to TSOTL as the video had already been released and everything but when the album started streaming on myspace i refused to listen to it. i listened to the whole thing the day it came out. i went to my local target and bought the cd/dvd and had a blast.

I can't find alot of leaks and the some of what I've found have not been Beady Eye, so I'm quite restricted to what I can hear before it's released!

TBH the copies i get i dont even listen to i just put them in the collection so downloading the leak is fine to me. Pre ordered the vinyal and the cd/dvd so will watch the dvd then never touch it again probably

When DBTT came out, I didn't listen to the leak and not even to Lyla, before I bought the album on the release day.
When DOYS came out, I listened to TSOTL a lot and IOT once from the leaks, before I bought it.
This time, I've listened to BTL, TR and 4LW a lot, but I am trying to hold back from the leaked stuff. Will listen to FA now, that's all.

Yeah. I agree. I downloaded it just now, but I won't listen to it. Why download? You ask? Because I will be listening to it on the Sunday night before the leak since in America it doesn't come out until Tuesday and since I pre-ordered it probably won't get here until later in the week.
