It would be wiser to do this a few days later when people are less emotional imo.

tbgo is a classic song with a nice amount of beatlesque influence

I'd give it a 4.5, but that's not one of the choices...

I'll certainly need a few more listens before I can make an informed decision.

Feels like a 3.75 which is sadly not an option.

i rated it a 4/5. the songs are all very very good, some are great. however Bring The Light shouldn't be there and that's something one can't escape and neither can the album itself. so... add to that the fact that the only "rockin' tunes" are Four Letter Word and Standing on The Edge.. and sadly it's not a perfect 5/5. it's still a heck of an album, it just feels (to me) like it could've been a lot better with the inclusion of one or two(one of them replacing BTL) more rocking songs like 4LW.

Not fair to rate the album yet. Give it at least a month.
I absolutely hated DOYS at first listen, and at my third or forth listen I thought it was the greatest of the last decade. Then after a month I got a bit more sane and understood it was partly great and partly bad. I think I'm not the only one who works like this.
But: After the first listening, it sounds pretty good. I hope TMS, TBGO and Wigwam will grow a bit though. It's a 3.5/5 right now.

2/5. It has its moments here and there but I'm not crazy about it. I'm pretty disappointed. When before any of the songs leaked I thought the album would be total shit, but after hearing Four Letter Word I got a bit excited. I've listened to the album twice so far and other than a couple of tracks I doubt that this album will get many more listens out of me. O well, I'm glad most people like it a lot. In my opinion... good songs- Four Letter Word, Beatles and Stones, For Anyone (just barely good instead of okay; pretty chill song), Morning Sun, Three Ring Circus okay songs- Kill For A Dream, Bring The Light, The Roller, Beat Goes On bad songs: Millionaire, Wigwam, Wind Up Dream, Standing On The Edge Of The Noise
So 5 good, 4 okay, 4 bad
So I give the album a solid 2 stars. Its okay. Not great, not terrible. If I hadn't heard any of the songs before listening to the full album I probably would have thought the same thing but would have been satisfied.

I gave it a 4, but I think it's pushing into 4.5 territory tbh

I think i'm being generous with a 3/5. Some good songs but a bit more time writing songs would have helped. Too much filler.

I'd give it 2.5 stars, but since that isn't an option I rounded down to 2.

It's really dull...for someone who complained Noel was writing music for 50 years olds, the three guys are writing boring acoustic numbers...
The rockiest songs (except Four Letter Word) lack something. A bit like Hung in a bad place did. It's not enough to plug in your guitar through a pedal to call it rock.
I am bitterly disapointed. Yes Oasis is over and Beady Eye are not for me.
