the sound quality of this leak is pretty shit....on MY headphones at least. I think I may wait for a higher quality rip of it to be honest. Lighter songs like Millionaire sound alright but songs such as Standing on the Edge of the Noise sound really bad in terms of quality.

Is anyone else trying to resist listening to it? gonna be hard, and either way i will DEFINITELY buy the album, its a small price to pay for the enjoyment these lads have brought me over the years, i hope everyone else buys it too

Dont care about the quality of the rip, its not bad at all, when it comes out nearly 2 weeks before the album i dont think i can be too picky towards the person who has given us this great album this morning.
I'm not resisting listening to it at all, dont see the point.
Been great listening to it non stop. Looking forward to the official version i pre ordered on Amazon months ago.

You get enjoyment from buying the album physically, you also get enjoyment with that first listen and then joining in with all the chat. Very funny with the mp picture above ! |

I was right about the date: 14th yay
anyway, pretty good record, but as i thought, there's a couple of stinkers, less than i first feared, but still... Liam's songs are the most disapointing. Andy on top form. Gem doing was he does, ie ok to good songs. But there seem to be a lack of unity, like a collection of songs rathe than "an album".

Funny moment just then.
Moving house soon so had a guy round to do the energy certificate. was all quite straight laced and that, then suddenly he goes 'is that that new beady eye album?' as he heard me playing it. Cue a 40 minute chat about Beady Eye/Liam/Oasis/britpop/tfi friday/Spike Island and other indie bands. He was in a band which supported Marion back in the day. Top lad !
