Probably the only two tracks that Oasis/Beady Eye/Liam have ever performed in this kind of style. Kinda goofy tracks, not too serious and sound like a bedroom recording of some demo. Both cool little songs, but I compared WOMR with Married With Children as soon as I heard it, and thought it was a like a better version of it. Anyone agree? Or am I satan in red satin panties for decrying anything that involves Definitely Maybe?

Both absolute quality. Definitely Maybe is untouchable - but Married With Children as a song isn't!
WOMR could easily trade places with it - but as long as the album had Rock & Roll Star, Live Forever, Columbia, Supersonic, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Slide Away it would be an uber-classic!

I love both tracks but 'World Outside My Room' just has the edge over 'Married With Children' in my opinion.

Well, the symbol you're looking for is ">", but I don't agree. World Outside My Room is great, but I prefer Married With Children.

Long time lurker here. I am a "YANK" and I think Married with Children is so much better than WOMR. I hate how Brits or Europeans tell me I don't get it. Sorry but Oasis is my all time favorite band. I loved them when I first heard Supersonic. Also my friends and my whole family LOVES Oasis and they are all Yanks. Yes we have a lot of retards here who like shit music and are complete idiots. Those people would be your inner city folks, teenage girls, stoner hippie college kids, the heavy/death metal idiots etc.. You get my drift.

WOMR can't hold a candle to the scintillating melody of MWC. A classic tune in Oasis' canon, a wondrous album closer.

Was just playing "Married with Children" tonight. Reminds me of years ago back in '94 when it was my favorite song at the time. Really happy with "World outside My Room," but I'm still loving the old stuff. This is a "Yank" talking, too! haha

I love WOMR, as I have stated before, but MWC is just plain better.
WOMR is a 8.0/10-8.5/10 track
MWC is a 9.0-9.5/10 track.
