so your saying PYMWYMI is better then this whole record??? That one was written when he was passed out ;D I was curious about how you will defend yourself for that. Nice Just listened to the previews again and even WUD sounds better now. This album's not gonna be another DM or MG but I have a feeling this will easily level with other Oasis records. But with a bit more haters due to the poppier and lighter sound I guess.

Somethings been bothering me about the chorus to Kill For A Dream and the penny just dropped. It as like a cross between Sacred Trust by One True Voice and Were Sending Our Love Down The Well off the simpsons!

Wow. This is impressive. Kill for A Dream sounds like a real winner.
The only 2 I'm not convinced of are Wind Up Dream and Standing on the Edge of the Noise. But apart from that, this is shaping up to be one hell of an album

Anyone finding TBGO a bit disappointing? Yeah that track hasn't jumped out at me from the previews like some of the other ones have. I still have high expectations for it though considering what people who have heard the album have said about it.

Anyone finding TBGO a bit disappointing? What? The preview alone sounds amazing. The whole song is gonna be mega.

The sound wont change, and its irritating in parts. the best song with a bad production is always missing something.

I agree TBGO hasn't popped for me yet either. But almost every review has given it top marks...so I am thinking the best is yet to come from that one.
Still my most anticipated track

The sound wont change, and its irritating in parts. the best song with a bad production is always missing something. Well the sound will change as the quality will be better, and it always makes a big difference. If you don't like the production thats fair enough, but I love it, so far much more simple than Oasis's last record. I haven't seen you say anything other than negatives thus far, are you 'discworld' under another name?

Ive said on many other thread that i loved some of the tracks: FLW, the Roller, world outside my room are stunning. Standing on the edge of noise has charisma too, For anyone sounds good. On the other hand, B&S, bring the light arent too exciting though they are growing on me. But there's bits on Wind up dream, kill for a dream, wigwam and morning that are already annoying me from the previews. I hope it changes with the full thing... but i dont think so. Oasis always had the talent to borrow but to sound like themselves each times. It seems here Lillywhite has just copied and paste his production on this band, and the resultats is that they sound like someone else.

The intro of "The Morning Sun" is brilliant. It may seem stupid, but it's one of the best things I heard so far from the album. It's so simple but touching. The album's going to be class... I think we must accept that ;-) Even "wind up dream" which seemed really bad from the first preview, doesn't sound too bad in the second preview.
Too bad I heard all the previews already, hearing small parts of an album isn't really satisfying. This album isn't going to be a real surprise to me anymore. But heck, that's my own fault, I'm just too weak ;-)
