It took 4 or 5 listens to really appreciate this tune...it is really REALLY good, i think its easily better then 4LW, BTL, or TR...ill pose this question: What Oasis songs post Be Here Now have the energy of this song!! I can't think of any!
plus its got a real cool old school r'n'r beat and a nice little chorus/bridge thingy

It's the worst of the album songs yet, but at least it's still better than the last six songs of DOYS (minus Falling Down, of course).

Can I ask...... has that been edited at the end or is that an official version. That is the first version I have heard that has a complete ending and sounds like a complete mixed version.

The rips that we have been hearing were not ripped properly off that show, cos there were a couple of seconds missing About the mix I don't know. I think all rips came from the finnish radio so the source is the same  |

I had never heard the original so I wasn't sure if they had played it on the radio with the ending cut out and then somebody had come out with a full version. Obviously just the best rip of the song we've had. |

I really can't believe some people think this is the best yet?
Ofcourse it's personal oppinion, but I think this is the weakest song yet...

It took 4 or 5 listens to really appreciate this tune... That says it all. Nothing BDI has released has grabbed me. They're all okay, average songs, and with Oasis nerds (myself included) listening and re-listening to these songs fifty times, the songs will no doubt grow on you. You have Liam's voice, which is still potent in the studio. And the production will be top notch. But none of these songs are all that memorable...they just aren't. I'm hoping The Beat Goes On is as great as people are saying it will be. And Wigwam. |

I just listened to this through headphones for the first time and I must say that this song contains the best drumming on any Oasis/Beady Eye song (IMO). Especially in the 3rd and final verse. Can't wait for a perfect quality version to be in my hands ;D

I'm not with you in your opinion about Beatles & Stones.
For me it's not te best yet. Actually sounds a bit like a filler. It's not bad offcourse, but it's just not that special. It starts out of nowhere, and the song isn't really going anywhere.
Same with Bring The Light,
but if i had to make a choice, i would go for BTL, because it's more powerfull, into your face, and has a refreshing sound.
The Roller is in my opinion a nice melodic "kinda-rip" off of Instant Karma by John Lennon, but a good one! Good single.
WOMR is cool, it's something they have never done really, and Liam sounds nice on it, in a way we haven't heard that much yet.
4LW is a classic Oasis kinda song, reminds me of songs like Morning Glory ... Love the song and the powerfull sound.
Sons Of The Stage is a nice cover, Liam sounds really good ( i think overall on this album he does), but the song is not to great...
Don't misunderstand, Beatles & Stones is a good song, but in my opinion not very special if i compare it with the other songs. And it sounds to much like Eyeball Tickler I think. Even then i would go for E.T. (lol) It has a nice JET "are you gonna be my girl" kinda guitar thing in it. Maybe a riff like that is missing on B&S...
To rate what i've heard at the moment:

Bring The Light
Beatles & Stones
