I wish for ya but I doubt they would go there. Its a new band so they will stick with the major cities on the east and west coast imo doing sxsw would make a lot of sense and give them tons of exposure. lots of new bands play that festival. i mean, i think they(Oasis) did it back in 05 or something, of course they were headlining. this time would obviously be different. why not? They did Austin City Limits, but regardless, Austin is one of the biggest music cities in America. They'll play Austin eventually, but probably not on their first trek.

I was front and center on the barrier. so good. Pretty much everyone up front was an oasis fan, so when they were 20 minutes late, the crowd started singing champagne supernova, then FITB came on of course, went nuts. i think liam was surprised the crowd was as legit/big as it was. some things i remember 1) a moth flew around liam and it started him, then he quickly like threw his chest at it like "c'mon WHAT..WHAT" it was funny. 2) noel saying a the frost skyscraper in austin looked like a "fookin owl" 3) noel dedicating wonderwall to "all the ugly girls in the audience, except *points* you, you and you cause i like glasses". COME BACK LIAM. SERIOUSLY WTF.

This will be a unique opportunity for those of us who get to see them live in the US. Since they're a new band and will be playing much smaller venues, we'll be able to see Liam and the guys in a much more intimate setting than we would have if Oasis was playing here. I'm pretty excited about that...now, I'm just hoping they play somewhere within reasonable travel distance!

If the venues they play to are at places like the 930 Club in DC, it's first come/first serve with regards to standing room. There is, therefore, no excuse for any of us in the US to not get up very close to Liam and the lads. That's what I can't wait for, and I hope they are truly considering the DC venue.

I'd be at the 930 club in a heartbeat to see them. That would be awesome. So would Recher Theater in Towson.

May 17th - Los Angeles, CA May 18th - San Francisco, CA May 21st - Seattle, WA May 23rd - Austin, TX May 25th - Chicago, IL May 27th - New York City, NY May 28th - Boston, MA
im guessing just major stops, 7-10 gigs, maybe a TV appearance on Letterman or something...and then back to the UK

Don't shoot me down because I'm British and I have no major knowledge of American geography or the popularity of Oasis & Beady Eye in America. But as an educated guess I am going to say....
May: 20th Seattle 22nd San Francisco 23rd Los Angeles 25th Vancouver 26th Toronto 27th Chicago 29th Philadelphia 30th Washington June: 1st Detroit 3rd New York 4th New York 5th Boston
