For Anyone is "sugary and La's-like" (as if we didn't know it). Article also seems to hint that it was written by Liam. Nice picture of him recording the vocals for it as well. Short quotes by Andy and Gem.

thanks a lot. NME does pay a large amount of attention, hope it won't change attitude suddenly after the album comes out.

Thanks for sharing. The NME are all smiles now but as always, wait till the review comes. It's all about making sales.

The vocal on 'For Anyone' does sound a bit like 'There She Goes'. In fact the whole of the tune does a little.
Also it seems to prove that Liam definitely has Bring The Light, Wigwam, For Anyone & The Morning Son (I think that has been mentioned) as his songs. Cannot guess what the other is yet.

this is probably the wrong place for it, but what does it say about a new Kasabian album? I see that they're listed on the cover.

That picture was used in Q a few months back, was trying to work out what the lyrics were from through the sheet

Another thing...the sheet Liam's reading from looks like "For Anyone".

Fuck. Now I'm even more excited. I just hope Gem is right about what he says in the middle of the second column.
Also, judging from what Gem says, they seem to have written a lot of songs to this album. I guess The Roller is one of the exceptions, since it was written in 2002.

^ I am hoping that that means that we are going to get more than 1 b-side per single.

^ I am hoping that that means that we are going to get more than 1 b-side per single. Won't get many more on records, I reckon we'll only have one more single. However if my maths is correct there is 17 tracks that will be out by March. Surely not enough for a set especially if not all get used so we may hear other tracks live (1 or 2 b-sides) that were not released.

The La's were my first thought when i heard the clip. Especially the guitar. I figured beatles and stones was all liam. And Morning Son i might give to andy or liam. Four Letter Word i thought was Liam. so who knows.

Also in the MOJO interview he mentions Morning Son which is why I think he wrote that too. His fifth, I'm not sure yet. Beatles and Stones to me could be Gem's, who knows?

I'd be inclined to go for The Beat Goes On, purely because of the lyrics. Then again, I'd say the same for Standing On The Edge Of The Noise.

We'll have to wait until the album.

Or they can play a "really fucking long version" (using Noel's words) of Sons of the stage like Oasis did with I am the walrus, in the early days when they had only a few songs.

Do you think they'll play Oasis songs written by them? Liam said they won't play Noel songs but he didn't say anything about their Oasis songs (like Hung in a bad pace, Guess God thinks I'm Abel...)

Definitely not this year, he said if it goes tits up and some BE tunes arent well received then they will play Oasis tunes written by Liam, Gem & Andy.
