Credit where it's due
Have been really impressed with his drumming on all of the tracks so far especially FLW & TR love the way the drumming comes in on TR & love the pounding as the solo finishes

Sharrocks cool. It's gem I hate, proper lottery winner who ruined the oasis sound and hasn't got a decent song in him

How did he ruin the sound?

To be fair, I doubt Gem chose his sound in Oasis all by himself, if you know what I mean....

I think had been a great decision on Noel's part to bring Chris into Oasis. Top drummer.
It's a good this that the band split when they had Chris and not when they had Zak. I doubt Zak would have stuck with them and they wouldn't have had a drummer.
I'm glad they have a permanent drummer.

He was in the La's. This alone makes him a top drummer

Sharrocks cool. It's gem I hate, proper lottery winner who ruined the oasis sound and hasn't got a decent song in him Gem is my favorite non-Gallagher member (of past and present). He seems to be a very genuine person, seems to enjoy rocking out live, looks really cool, and has come up with the odd good tune too. Gem is awesome. GTFO.

This. 100% agree. also: In mixed martial arts forums they ban members who bash fighters. its obvious when you are stating an opinion, but something different when you are bashing someone. not sure about this one. but some people just are trolling and beyond disresepctfiul. sometimes i wish this board did the same

His interviews in the early days were brilliant. I was absolutely GUTTED when he left, and if I'm honest, Oasis weren't Oasis without him and Guigs. Bizarrely now Gem's in Beady Eye as a proper member I can like him better!

As a non-musical person who probably can't give you an accurate definition of a drum-fill, I can say I have enjoyed the drumming of Chris Sharrock more than any of the other Oasis/Beady Eye Drummers. You really notice him (in a good way).

Sharrock is way better than Zak Starkey.
Sharrock is a good lad!
A good 46 year old lad.

0.20 Nice bit of footage. Keith Moon move there. Sharrock is good, I like what I've heard/seen so far. He is still the new boy though for me and never seen him interviewed, don't really know what he's like. I will always have a soft spot for Zak too.

I don't know how anyone can hate Gem Archer!
In many ways I believe he prolonged Oasis by providing the perfect foil for both Liam and Noel.
He just fucking has it when he's got the axe in hand man. Top accent too.
Just a 10/10 geezer if you ask me.
Noel stopped writing big choruses when he showed up though SCYHO and GLIO being the only exceptions.
So yeah man, GTFO.

Looking at the recent Beady Eye photos compared to the Oasis photos from the DOYS tour, I'm sure that Chris has either lost five stone or had plastic surgery - he looks totally different! A top lad, nonetheless, and his son, who drums for Miles Kane, is also very good.

I knew his lad was in the Sand Band but I didn't know that he played for Miles Kane as well.
It's an incestuous little music scene that have going on there.

You really notice him (in a good way). I hear you, I'm totally with you there. You notice his drumming and say "wow, that sounds pretty good!" Plus, I like that he doesn't take himself too seriously and kinda adds to the live experience. See that Keith Moon move he did, or like when he points at the camera during the BTL vid or when he kicks the drums in the SOTS vid. Nice change to have someone a bit crazy on stage.

When I saw him drum during the last Oasis tour I was really impressed. AS a drummer myself, I think he is incredibly talented. I'm really excited to hear the whole record and see how his entire body of work over the album sounds. I'm sure it will be extremely solid.
