Strange, I think FLW is easily the best non-Noel Oasis rocker. And The Roller is Gem's finest imho. Luckily enough for BDI not everyone shares your opinion. De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum est...

^ Wait for the album before getting that cynical. We've only heard 3 tunes.
Saying they haven't thrilled you yet is one thing...but I wouldn't go as far as calling them borderline embarrassing.

I will only respect your opinion if you hear all the songs. Cos you can't really have an opinion about something you didn't hear, can you?

Where I live (Belgium) it's really a saying. I studied Latin, and it's a saying that a lot of people on this forum should keep in mind. I think no one on this forum is truly objective, so there's no need to strenghten your argument by saying "I remain objective at all times". As far as I'm concerned, you're as subjective as anyone. That doesn't mean I don't value your opinion, it's just the way you said it...

If we see the new album as a first album of a completely new band, it will sound mediocre. But most of us see this as a continuation of Oasis under a new name and in that sense, the material sounds fresh and bright. People criticize the relative quality of the materials and that's fine, but why do some people here try to stop people from liking their band's songs?

I would think this is a solid output if it were a new band that I had never heard of. I'm loving this so far.
