The only way I listen to Oasis (or Anyone) is on Vinyl... If I can get it on Vinyl Its Mine!. I bought all the Oasis CDs but gave them to my Guitarist because when I am at home I like to really hear the music... I have a $5,000 Sound System that lets me hear everything! Vinyl Kills Digital Audio!!! Blah. it's kinda cool how vinyl DOES indeed sound better. especially when something is recorded analog. Then it's just insane. Too bad they don't do that anymore. Brian Wilson's Smile album out in 2004 had the producer specially record also in analog for the vinyl. it's so good. too bad they wear down. but the sound is so much deeper, i love it. That's why this shift to too much digital sucks cause sound is getting more compressed.

That's just a mastering issue with the CDs though, especially with Oasis releases, which are traditionally and consistently brickwalled to within an inch of their lives. I'm not a massive fan of digital only releases, certainly in lossy formats, but a few years down the line we should be offered FLAC options at the very least. But vinyl-only releases annoy me more, it's totally at odds with modern music listening, which is more on-the-move. The fact that we've still got crappy vinyl rips of the two b-sides proves that needledropping is a fine art, it needs to be done with high end equipment and mint condition, high quality vinyl. You have a crappy analog setup, you're fucked before you've started. At least with a digital CD>FLAC file, the source material is more consistent. Plus converting to portable format is so much easier without losing anything in the conversion. Sons of the Stage is being released on the DVD version of the album, so we'll have a digital release of that, I'm praying and hoping the two other b-sides get a digital release or are one of the Japanese bonus tracks.

I think that the words that are displayed in TR sleeve are some lyrics of Two Of A Kind. Apart from TR ones, of course.

Well, hopefully if the info on the following page is correct, looks like we'll have digital copies of at least two of the b-sides. Google translate job though: www.sonymusicshop.jp/m/item/itemShw.php?site=S&ima=4346&cd=SICP00000304814. Sons of the Stage 15. World Outside My Room Shame track 14 isn't 'Two Of A Kind' though, as you've pointed out Sons is on the DVD. How accurate do you think this info is Mono?

Official Sony website, not sure we can get any better than that. Excellent spot, and great news. Looks as though The Roller video is the deluxe edition bonus track.

Great stuff then, had an awful feeling that the vinyl rip was the best we were gonna get of WOMR. Didn't notice the bonus video of The Roller!
