Yeah, but on some tracks you can clearly hear Andy Bell's Ride influence.

First Impressions:
Four Letter Word, Millionaire, For Anyone sound very good, very promising.
The rest just sounds very Oasis post 2005 album filler/B-Sides. Just boring in my opinion. The same plodding structures to the songs.
That being said, my opinion might change when I finish hearing the full record.

Right now I feel the bottom 3 are 4. Beatles and Stones 8. Kill For A Dream (kinda gives me a Knickleback vibe) 9. Standing On The Edge Of The Noise (Kinda like a bad Jet song) Add 6. Bring The Light, and the "rough patch" (as of now, too early to judge) would be the middle part of the album (though 5. Wind Up Dream and 7. For Anyone are strong). Better the middle than the end like DOYS. Delete BTL. But your comparisons on kill for a dream and soteotn are spot on. I really can't shake that nickelback vibe now lol.

Looks as though iTunes are correcting their mistake. Gone from France, Italy, Germany and Australia.

Interesting stuff
Great production....Chris Sharrock's drum sounds and playing are amazing...if only he got to play on DOYS
The Roller has been floating around for years yeah? I remember it being thrown around as a song possible for inclusion on HC? Beatles and Stones = My Generation I just realized Bring The Light with those backing vocals is quite Supergrass....think "Grace" For Anyone = something off Help! or Rubber Soul? Bit of La's in there too Kill For A Dream sounds like a late period Oasis B-Side...like Shout It Out Loud. Standing On The Edge Of The Noise = another Supergrass comparison, it's the fucking riff from Lenny!!! Compare the two Wigwam...not bad, reckon they got the title from Hey Bulldog???!!! Three Ring Circus = Wally Raffles by You Am I. Search it. The album it's from, Hourly Daily, is an Oasis favourite The Beat Goes On = very fucking promising to say the least. Sounds amazing, Beady Eye do Neil Finn!! The Morning Son = Seems nothing special, sounds like Won't Let You Down??!!!
Just my first impressions, can't wait to wrap me ears around the finished record.

"Kill For A Dream" was written when Oasis joined by Andy.
Andy said at Sony's Japanese website "When I joined the band for the first time, Kill for A Dream I wrote a song called, Which is the best song."

Bang on the button with the You Am I refrence. I was in Australia when that was released & they were touring back home in England typical.

First time I've heard something promising from this band. I still think it's going to be just average though. Some of the clips sound like filler to me.

on a whole the album sounds great (going by the clips)
Sure we're not going to get any DLBIA and so on, but this album sounds like a strong "listen all the way through" kinda album
Very Lennon-esq and I'm loving the acoustic guitars all over the place - you can hear some awesome work going on from Gem and Andy
The album is only going to get better when we hear the full tracks - dont forget those iTunes clips don't always give you the best part of the songs
I'VE KEPT ITUNES FRANCE OPEN ALL DAY SO CAN STILL GET THE PREVIEWS

Very, very pleased with the tunes so far. Melodies sound good, arrangements sound great and thus far, I haven't heard the words "soul" or "shine".

these songs will go nowhere, they'll just be these clips repeated three times over with progressively shittier lyrics

Compared to Oasis songs - it's actually harder to identify who's songs are who's
Whether that's because they've worked together more on all of them, or it's the sound coming through -
nice flowing sound to the album

Clips sound really cool but we'll have to wait for the full story. So far, its as I expected very 60's and sounds like DBTT but the songs mesh a bit better like DOYS.
Really looking forward to the album now. Four Letter Word, Standing....., Wigwam, Kill For A Dream & For Anyone stand out to me.

Just got done listening to all the clips the whole way through. I'm very impressed by Liam's vocals on these. I really didn't know he still had the ability to sing like he does in For Anyone anymore.
