So surely a way round getting more than 4 tickets is getting 4 from their website and then some from seetickets etc. Very long shot I know, they will probably be gone in minutes. i would think beady eye will link to seetickets tbh |

Thing is, they might do a "warm up" gig somewhere else in the run up to these ones, the Barras is obviously a bit of bear pit so could be a risky venue to play their very first gig - if they fucked things up they'd get pelters. Knowing Liam though, he'll probably not give a fuck, so I'm probably talking pish. You always talk pish, cretin. Do you not think the mighty Beady Eye have been practising for these gigs. If i was to make a guess then I would say single out late Jan/early Feb (airplay early Jan) and then the album a week or two later so it has a couple of weeks to settle before the tour. Another band I like, The Courteeners sort of followed that pattern. They released a free download in December, single in Feb a week before there new album and then toured the UK throughout March. Was the free single a filler?  Believe it or not, it was. A decent track but certainly not the strongest or the best suited as a single. For what its worth too there was a limited edition vinyl that had a b-side that wasn't really a b-side. It was an alternative version of an album track. A small comparison to Beady Eye put out a cover on the vinyl instead of a written b-side. I know these are only comparisons but they come very close and I'm just throwing them into the occasion. |

Anybody else find it strange that Ticketmaster is/has sent the tickets out now and seetickets haven't? In the past, see tickets have waited until very late before they send them out. I've had numerous Oasis & The Courteeners tickets from See Tickets and I usually get them a week before. My girlfriend on the other hand bought Katy Perry tickets off Ticketmaster for March and she's got them already. Maybe Ticketmaster get them sent out early and See Tickets like to leave it, just an educated guess on my part so I could be wrong. |
