I tweeted Steve Lillywhite who is live on air at the moment hosting his radio show on EVR in New York. I asked him if he had any hints regarding the new Beady Eye album. He said on air that the rest of the album is Very Different than Bring The Light. The Rest of the Songs are very varied.... listen to his show here: www.eastvillageradio.com/

he still won't accept my friend request on facebook!! well everyone who has heard bits has said its rockier and heavier than Oasis so if its quite varied track by track it could end up sounding like a NOW thats what i call music compilation thingy ;D

Sounds promising, a shame that he couldn't have elaborated slightly more.
I really like BTL, its energetic and fun and I think that's all it is supposed to be and the album will offer different. The closer we get to 2011, the more I get excited about this album and watching them live in action

Thanks for the info, good news. I don't know what to expect from the band now, and I guess that's better.

He said on air that the rest of the album is Very Different than Bring The Light. The rest of the album -> so that means Bring The Light is definitely on the album, and not as a standalone single of some sort?

Great news, Web. Absolutely confident that since SL was the man at the helm, this forthcoming BE album will be great.

It definitely is on the album. Direct from the Beady Eye site: "Beady Eye will be making available ‘Bring The Light’, the first track to be heard from their debut album, as a free download worldwide to their fans on Wednesday 10th November from 10am (GMT) from their website www.beadyeyemusic.com". www.beadyeyemusic.co.uk/news.php?id=174

Absolutely confident that since SL was the man at the helm, this forthcoming BE album will be great. why when was the last time he produced anything of note? the same could be said of your posts. just kidding... I'm just glad the album will have some different types of songs on it. BTL is decent enough but hopefully they can surprise us with a few twists and turns on the album.

Yes I hope its good, but for the people getting excited over the words "different, "varied" those words dont always mean better.
I'm not saying it will be bad, but lets remember whats already happened with BTL and the aftermath, after everyone got their hopes up way too high. Not saying it will be bad, just saying lets wait and see.
I really do hope that its better than BTL.
