The 22 second clip we saw a few weeks ago on the site is different to this isn't it? Does that mean that they've done another video? Remember we only found out about this one in the first place cos the dancer leaked/treeted about it. They could have done another one and kept it quiet? They're not going to do two successive videos in a dark studio are they? Anyway, Liam's singing "baby come on" in his clip. Liam's wearing a hat in the preview clip, so that's either from a rehearsal or an unused take.

I like the girls a lot. Nice touch to the video. At this point doesn't matter if the song is good or not, Liam and company are looking cool as hell (as usual).

As far as I am concerned it is the single. People was thinking the 15th/22nd for the release date and I think this is it tbh. Its on Itunes etc it will chart and it is the first single off the album. Never mind the wording, it WILL be the lead single

Love the video & the song...To quote The Rolling Stones "It's only rock n roll & I like it!!" Back up dancers are cool...reminds me of early Tina Turner.

And for the record he's singing "We become one" and not "Baby come on".

Not going to lie, it's kind of funny seeing the people who defend the song to death and say they like it also hoping it's not the first single.

^It can't be the lead single off the album. It wasn't announced as such. Let's hope it's just a stand alone single, not included on the album And the video is ok. I like dark videos without too much colour in them They already announced on the Beady Eye website that BTL is specifically "the first track to be heard from their debut album."

I like the song and wouldnt mind if it was the first single. But I am increasingly finding it odd that they havent officially announced it as the single? They've simply said it's the first song from BE

The video is good for what it is, although I did cringe when Chris pointed the drum stick. But overall, a solid start from BDI with a decent song and resulting video.
Also, is it just me who thinks Liam looks a little like Paul Weller in this clip?

The video is good. Its gives more energy to the song. There are two cringe moments for me, Christ pointing the drum stick and the two close up of Gem especially for that little flimsy riff. When you have a slow motion close up, you're usually expecting something big or amazing to happen and to only have that flimsy riff come out kinda took some air out for me.
But overrall a good video and it matches the song perfectly. As with the song the back up girls are probably the best parts and I liked some of the slow motion close ups to Andy.
Liam looked great in that leather jacket that kinda harks back to the old pictures that you see of Lennon with the young Beatles. Liam especially looked good for his close ups and looked right at home among the loud pianos and back up singers. Like I said just two cringe worthy moments for me, 1. Chris with the drumsticks. lol 2. Gem and the slow motion close up coupled with the flimsy guitar riff.
Still though only an ok song. If they can bring the same kind of video or the same vibe of this video that is to say the excitement or energy to their next video and if they could have a better song then they could be mega. But the songs have to get better first.

here's my short take on the video:
the whole "stage" setup was nice, i think it's obvious that their budget isn't all that much(unfortunately). I mean i don't like things done half-ass but whatever... the dancers, jesus!!! when i saw them i was like "am i watching Soul Train?" seriously disgusted with their ridiculous "dance moves" at one point, they look like the are having seizures lol when i am watching a ROCK band, i don't wanna see stupid dancers, not even if they're all10's/ victoria's secret models and are naked. Liam looks cool(as always), the rest of the band as well... At the very end of the song, Liam looks like he's blowing the mic, which is hilarious(and not in a cute/good way), this happens because of the way the video was edited AND because of the pace of the song. all in all, still disappointed with the band's first single, i don't like the song and the video was ruined by the dancers...

How do you know they're a rock band? lol
I think the female dancers were quite reasonable being as theres female singers on the song.
