Still, i gotta say, doesn't do enough for me to actually like the song but it does sound better.
replace the ridiculous piano with an electric guitar, slow the pace down a bit and it could've been way better imo

i like the piano. not everything needs to be guitars to the max. and yuh this sounds ok. But now i feel it pulling and i want it to take off. k now it's just boring.

you see, this is what i'm talking about.... people are making excuses for this song, just like they did for a lot of the tracks on heathen chemistry when it came out: 'listen to it slowed down, listen to it on headphones, listen to it when you're pissed, listen to it before you go out, etc. etc. .... IT WILL SOUND BETTER'  the track is what it is... it's either good, or it's shit. plain and simple. |

I won't be slowing it down but I will be editing the outro. The only way I can tolerate Boy With The Blues is with an edited down outro.

If you have to SLOW A SONG DOWN, talk about "replacing-this-with-this" or make a fan-edit to make it listenable, then the song is most likely shit.
You do KNOW THAT, right?
We've all defended a few weak Oasis tracks in our time, but come on...

Ya, I actually kind of like this version. You can actually hear and make out the notes on the piano instead of it all blurring together like an ogre with perpetual colitis letting rip a string of 1,000 massive farts.
