ok i know this is off-topic but those of you bashing Favre, i guess Noel must suck too then?
Why would you say a legendary QB like that, sucks?
because he hasn't been as great as he was in his prime(eventhough he's still pretty damn good)?
because he has a huge ego(not as huge as some songwriters/guitarists tho)?
because he's now old?
because he's no longer what is "popular"?
hmm hope you see the similiarities...

I don't even follow American football, and I disdain the American sport (because of it's incredibly annoying commercialization, ie timeouts, etc), but even I know the answer. Even I know he's seen as a traitor. He's basically like Ashley Cole. That's why he's hated so much. So no, those Noel 'comparisons' you listed there aren't relevant. |

Hmmm....no. It's the way he hijacks the offseason with his bullshit "i dunno if i'm gonna play" and he shits on his team by holding out as long as possible to miss training camp cuz his gray ass thinks he's above it. You can't deny he's one of the best ever, but holy shit he needs to stop with the diva act every summer. If he doesn't want to do training camp, he can at least show up and do some light drills. I don't think the players would mind since he's old enough to be some of their fathers. I bet they'd rather him be there in some capacity than spend all of camp wondering if Grandpa Gunslinger is going to play. The Noel equivalent of this situation would be if the rest of the band were in the studio and said "we've got all our songs ready and our parts recorded, we're just waiting to see if Noel is gonna show up to call it Oasis or Beady Eye". Cut to Noel teaching a teenager what a D chord is while watching the story on the news and turning his phone off as it's constantly ringing. Imagine how pissed off Oasis fans would be if that was going on. Favre is a douche. Bring the Light is a 5/10 at best (to stay on topic) |

I'm not a fan of the 5 year break either. I know if I had millions of dollars I'd be hard pressed to find motivation to do anything. I'm bad enough as it is, can't imagine if I knew I could never work again and be fine, haha.
I'm not trying to start anything with you, dude. I was a Favre fan a couple years ago...his act is just getting old now. Don't mean to ruffle your feathers or anything.

well didn't Noel want a stupid ass 5 year break? enough said. If he wants to grow his family...so be it. With the burden on Noel from Oasis...I doubt that he thought that he could have the baby and do a record properly. He did it with Donovan...maybe he regretted it. I'd like to see any of you be extremely productive with a newborn @ home anyways. People always say the first year is the hardest...and recording an album is hardly the easiest thing to do. As I see it I'd rather Noel do his album when the sprout is a bit older and he isn't sleep deprived and has enough time to do it properly. |
