I'm telling you, the tune is solid. The silent majority is being kept quiet by the outspoken minority who are hellbent on overly criticizing this track. I agree mate. Check out the BE facebook page and it's pretty much all positive. But come on here and people are expecting fukin Oasis MK 2

It's fuckin awful end of,where did it debut in the charts? enough said I even personally wrote 2 Liam on twitter expressing My disgust do I care if He dont like it? No coz He needs 2 know the truth. Supersonic debuted at No.38 I think and this awful piece of shite didnt even make the top 40 its that bad. Beady Eye will NOT challenge the Oasis Legency, the New Kings Kasabian or Noel Gallagher once He gets His material out there. L4E is so pro Liam its unreal. Admit when something is shite coz this track is

It was only made available on itunes this week so why would it have charted? copies were sold also tho like Vinyls and that Which were a limited edition of 4,000 therefore they weren't eligible to chart. Don't let that stop you acting like a window licker though. FWIW I am not a big fan of the song at all, it's grown a little on me but that's about as far as it'll get with me.

If they wanted it to chart they would've promoted it properly and certainly wouldn't stick it on their website for free. It's just a track they released to stir the pot and put a bit of distance between them and the typical Oasis sound. Did that happen? Yes.

Seattle WeeklySurprise! Liam Gallagher's new band sounds straight out of the '60s By Bryden McGrath Liam Gallagher, the ex-Oasis front man, entrepreneur and all-around badass (or douchebag, up to you), proclaimed earlier this year that his new band Beady Eye would be "bigger" than his former band. Not going to happen. Besides the fact that--and I realize this may come as a shock to many Americans--Oasis released four post-'90s studio albums that sold ridiculous amounts around the world, it's much more likely that brother Noel's eventual solo album will gather more acclaim than Liam's venture. Nevertheless, Beady Eye, whose lineup consists of Oasis minus Noel, released their debut single "Bring the Light" today as a free download. Borrowing heavily from the Rolling Stones and The Kinks, the song is a bluesy, energetic romp with a driving piano riff. Lyrically, Liam sneers out lines about drinking, love and being tough. Far from his best and, luckily, far from his worst. Beady Eye's first full-length is set for release next year, though with U2 producer Steve Lillywhite on board and this surprisingly decent first single, it might not be the train wreck I had been fearing. Ha, thanks for reading my article (well, blog post).

I don't personally like it. You realize this is press reviews right? There is a handy thread labelled 'your opinion of BTL'

So 104.5 WRFF in Philly mentioned Beady Eye today. Right after Champagne Supernova ended, the radio host said Oasis split up and the band members without Noel Gallagher have a new band called Beady Eye and that they're literally and figuratively nothing like Oasis.
And that point I expected her to play BTL, but to no avail. Nice to see the lads get some recognition in the states, though.
