So the last big releases were spread out through PM's on this messageboard, but after the warnings of proboards it's not aloud anymore.
How are we going to spread the Beady Eye release through the forum members? We're not.. Don't get L4E in in trouble..
Edited..

How are we going to spread the Beady Eye release through the forum members? Just wait til the song is aird on (probably) Radio 1 or Polish radio like what with Lyla happened and wait for the official release date. I'm not saying this to you, GD, so please don't get me wrong. I hate the leak and the beggers in general. Remember the TOS people and don't spoil this place. I just don't want to this forum will be the next big target.

This was one of reasons of starting this thread, do not get L4E in trouble.. People wanting the leak should not go asking on these boards.. maybe webby will need some extra mods when the leak has hit the net..

well, we'll need the collaboration of all members. people should know by now they can't ask for nor post leaked songs. Not even in PMs. So we'll appreciate not having multiple threads with tons of "PM ME PLEASE!!!" posts. cheers

If people become that desperate, then they should record it off the radio themselves.

I want to be good and say I'll wait til it comes out, but realistically I'll be all over the leak... Someone'll post it on youtube anyway and then you'll be able to rip it from there, seems to be the easiest way...

To be honest I really hope that it doesn't leak. If it's good music then I hope that it'll sell well, they deserve it and they need to put Beady Eye on the map.

I would probably get the leaked version and buy all the official stuff too (just like anyone could get oasis albums illegally, and I still bought all of them), but that's sadly not true for everyone. A little spoiler would be nice - maybe 30 seconds of the chorus to give you an impression.

I will buy everything they release definitley, it's only fair. But if there's a chance to get my grubby mitts on the album a couple of weeks early, it s a chance i will not miss. My desperation for Beady eye music outweighs my conscience

I can't understand a big fan of a group going and illegally downloading their albums rather than buying them. Support the band guys!
Besides, I find it great when you have a physical copy of an album that you can hold in your hands, read the linear notes and lyrics while revelling in the artwork - I don't like the idea of my music being locked up in a computer.

But I want to support the artist that I really like. People taking advantage of good artists is the reason that crap pop is taking over the airwaves. People who like crap music will buy Lady Gaga CD off iTunes because it's easy to do a quick and they only buy 3 albums a year anyway. Die hard music enthusiast have a tendency to download lots of music illegally instead. Meaning that Lady Gaga gets an albums sold and the less pop-focused artists lose strength cause they aren't as commerical viable.

If hardcore music fans were to buy all the music they listen to, the charts surely wouldn't be riddled with such shit.

People taking advantage of good artists is the reason that crap pop is taking over the airwaves. Hasn't "crap pop" always been dominating the airwaves? Even before the internet arrived? Perhaps the general public just prefer "crap pop" to whatever avant-gard student band you're into at the moment.

I listen to an oldies radio station in my city that does this "everything they played on this day in 1976" kind of thing. I will tell you...the quality of the artist/music I hear there are much better. I do think that the casual music fan rules the airwaves more stringently than they have in the past. They always had a lot of power, there are alot of them...but I think it's only increasing.

I must say I don't agree, I've read about a reseach which stated that music pirates spend more on music. If I look at myself, I'm a music pirates but I buy the stuff I think is worth buying.
