How cool would it be if the last track on the record is a short solo liam and his guitar love song. I think anything is possible as he and the band are out to prove they were more than noels puppets. I'd love to see it. I guess that "show me your love clip and songbird has made me feel that one day hed grow the balls to try it. Cheers

Do you guys think that Liam will play guitar on the album @ all? I know that Andy and Gem are great guitarists...but if he puts on an easy acoustic song in the vein of Songbird...just a couple cords on one guitar part...do you think that he'll still get Gem and Andy to play the guitar?

Didn't Liam state that the album would be made up of a mix of songs, some rockers and one or two for the ladies? ? Liam has been playing guitar for years, better than people give him credit for I think and he could easily play live. He did it for Radio 1 for Songbird and Gem wasn't there as usual.

Got a feeling it's gonna be a bunch of all out rockers. Think so too. But that'd be fantastic if the last track was just a slow number by liam. Just an acoustic guitar like Married With Children on Definitely Maybe. Anyway, these are the other two performances (that I found) of Songbird. Top voice on this one! I don't think Liam has ever perfomed live playing the guitar (except in 1995's Top Of The Pops )

Liam Gallagher should stay the singer without a guitar.

It wouldn't suit Liam playing guitar on stage

I remember that one, I have the audio file on my old iPod. Gem played the guitar on that one as well. Cheers!

I'm just saying, one track at the end of the record, just to prove he's more than just a singer. A short ditty.

But Liam is a better guitar player than people think, considering he started to take it seriously around 2000 ish? Produced songbird by 2002. His singing style would probably rule playing it live out though

I used to be aprehensive & think Roger Daltrey should remain a singer as he is an amazing front man, but on the occasion he did start playing a guitar for bit's on stage it actually worked and was really cool.
Having said that I dont think Liam is ready for that & doubt he will play on stage at all with BE, although he might be recorded playing.
All I'm saying is I hope there is a Liam acoustic love vibe song on the album! ;D

Oneeye, I think I remember the one you're talking about, but I don't think there is any video of it. I believe I have an mp3. Is it the one where Liam makes a joke and says "We won't be too long" before he and Gem play "Songbird?" Think they did it four or five years ago.

I'm just saying, one track at the end of the record, just to prove he's more than just a singer. A short ditty. I can't believe I'm quoting Radiohead but..... Anyone can play guitar. Liam is iconic as a frontman, he should leave guitar playing to other people
