i think they will reunite somewhere down the road,, but only for a couple of special one-off shows w/ a greatest hits setlist, no new songs.... then later on down the line once the box set is released* (can't wait for that b.t.w.) we might get a couple of new tunes (record machine, perhaps, at long last?) *might i add once the box does come out, they should do it right and give the fans the proper treatment we deserve: i'm talking unheard demo's, alternate studio takes, a couple of new tracks, interviews, a nice booklet with lots of photos, a live gig or two, pro-shot dvd w/ their greatest performances, and hey while we're at it what about a remastered wtsmg thrown in for good measure

Honestly, I really don't care if they go back together. As long as Noel and Beady Eye continue to record tunes, it's like getting twice as much music out of them as we would have otherwise...at least that's how I look at it. And this way, Noel doesn't have to share space with other less worthy tunes by the other band members.

Yes.
I'm tired hearing the mediocrity of Beady Eye's songs, and I'm tired of hearing the plodding nature of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (although that album is fucking fantastic).
They both need to make up and get on with being one of the best and biggest bands in the world.
As recently as 2009 they were still titans of the musical world, now they are a cult band, BDI moreso, with the Oasis fan base really only being the interested party.
They need each other. NGHFB's is fantastic, but it would have been a masterpiece seriously rivaling WTSMG if Liam was on the album supplying his energy and sneering vocals.
Sigh.

Nope. DGSS + NGHFB > Dig Out Your Soul. And I don't care at all if they are a big or a small or a cult band. A reunion would mean more albums like DBTT and DOYS instead of twice the amount and pretty much the same quality from HFB and Beady Eye... I'd be happy with a one-off anniversary tour in 14 or 15 though - so I can finally see them live.

I think I agree with them broken up. However, a morning glory tour would be gods gift to humanity. Maybe they could release like an EP of all the 'incomplete' oasis songs since Dave sardy killed record machine and a few of the others. I still hate that choir and the backup vocals on stop the clocks. No new album though, I don't think

Just no.
In 5 years we got 3 Gallaghers albums and lots of b-sides.

I still say, "No".
A one off gig would be the only thing I would want. Anything after that would bring the same problems as before.

As a few mentioned above, I want them back for a little tour at special venues, just to put a decent ending to their legacy.

Would be great if they put out good material. Beady Eyes stuff is good, but not even close to Oasis'. And Noel Gallagher's High Flying birds is even better, but still boring without Liams voice, sorry. It's not the same, just like Wings or Lennons solowork are not the Beatles.

I do from a purely selfish point of view because I never saw them.

Sure. Oasis is Oasis. No BE or NGHFB could replace them.

No definitely not. It wouldn't work anyway and it's never the same when bands break up and then reform.

A big final gig might be nice, to set things on good terms for the future. Get Bonehead and Whitey and Guigsy back, the classic line-up. Do a big greatest hits show, maybe at Knebworth, two nights, and then leave it. Back to their successful solo career. I don't think an actual Oasis album would be a step in the right direction for anyone.
