Why not just delete the threads when they are mentioned by spotted by Proboards?
We are never going to be able to use them again

Why not just delete the threads when they are mentioned by spotted by Proboards? We are never going to be able to use them again I have deleted the links in the threads pointed out by proboards in this warning. It seems they are interested in non bootleg material only. I pointed that our oasis bootlegs have never been an issue with Ignition or Big Brother . thanks

webby, watch out--it said "includes but may not be limited to" those links. plus, they also have problems with the stuff in pm's.
here's a thought... can't these offenders just use bittorrent instead, without having to screw the rest of us?

I am in touch with the owner of proboards, It's obvious that the trade of commercially available stuff is what they are obligated to stop on their boards, otherwise they are in deep trouble too. I made it clear to them that the trade of Oasis bootlegs on here should not be a problem as Ignition and Big Brother have always looked the other way. Members should stop advertising copyrighted trades in official posts , plain and simple. If you see one please let a mod know. Thanks everyone.

Yeah the posts may be an issue but most of the main posters (Eva,Birchy,Jim,Jake,Marcos,Carlos,Myself,NL4E) would (I'd imagine) come over to the new forum.

I'm still all for a minimum post count to enter the Sound and Vision board. In this way you can stop a lot of members who keep requesting official Oasis releases. The number of 'experienced' members who request official releases is much lower.

I'd also like a 'Request Forum',I think it'd be a lot better because there's a lot of requests which go unanswered in the forums.

That would just advocate people spamming the boards with nonsense just to increase their post count to gain access.....

Well, as someone who rarely posts but visits the board every day just to see what's going on I thought I'd say a word. I understand why a minimum of posts seems like a good idea, but some of us are just not able to be as active here as we'd like though we love the band no less. Perhaps a better idea is to give a warning to anyone who posts or requests offending material and on the second (or third) offense they get banned. Thoughts?
