Already some great stuff out like Teen Dream by Beach House and Transference by Spoon. Listening to Tourist History by Two Door Cinema Club, pretty good, still need to listen to Astro Coast by Surfer Blood. Found Contra by Vampire Weekend a bit weak, but there's some good stuff. Other stuff that are yet to come out...

Broken Bells-Broken Bells I got a leak of Broken Bells. It has James Mercer from the Shins and Dangermouse. It has a couple great songs and the rest are somewhat mediocre.

Yeah, I've been hearing the same thoughts here and there. I've only heard a few tunes, not the whole album as I've been too lazy to dig it up. But, even if it is mediocre, there has already been quite a few great albums that one disappointing one wont seem too bad. ;D

"I Will Live on Islands" = the best song of 2010 so far. Josh seems to have jumped on the Vampire Weekend sound-alike bandwagon, but it's all good.

We've already had the album of 2010 - Romance is Boring by Los Campesinos. It is very you to make such grandiose statements so prematurely. (Not to say the album is bad, they're one of the few bands you post about that are good)

Good to see another Spoon fan here! Written in Reverse, Got Nuffin', and Nobody Gets Me But You are definite highlights. Yeah man Spoon is seriously one of the best bands around. I agree with your choices but I'd add Out Go the Lights. Not a bad album in the bunch they have. They are consistently great. Some how I forgot: Work-Shout Out Louds (the first two singles sound top notch), Richard Ashcroft new album thing, Wake up the Nation-Paul Weller, U2-Songs of the Ascent, and the post oasis album. Its looking like a good year for
