Blur - Blur Song 2 is terrible. How that song became the main attraction for that album is beyond me. Imo it's the same with Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz, should have led with Feel Good Inc. (Here come the defenders)

Great album. Did you know that Gary Lucas, the co-writer and guitarist on Mojo Pin & Grace, was brought in by The Amorphous Androgynous to work on Noel’s album? Gutted we never got to hear that. 🎸

Daddy G is in his sixties now, which is insane to think about. 👨🦳 I wish they would release a new album someday. I love Mezzanine. Definitely Maybe - Oasis As a fan, their glacial pace is super frustrating. In this interview from 2017, Daddy G talks about having 291 unreleased tracks. 291! And he’s only one of the songwriters. www.musicradar.com/news/massive-attack-on-their-production-process-key-collaborators-and-secret-studio-weaponsNoel’s “I wrote 3 albums during lockdown” bollocks is tame in comparison. Mad to think Noel & Liam have had their entire solo careers since they last released an album. 🪴 🚬

A Northern Soul by The Verve! My second favourite album by them. I love the dreamy and dark atmosphere in combination with the incredible musicality of the band and the improvasional elements. It holds many memories for me and I think that’s partly responsible for why I love it so much.
