I am dying for new official live material. Especially with Liam's voice being back for real now - the Heaton gigs were amazing! Reminded my of his talent.

Apparently the stadium tour is being filmed...hopefully by whoever did the City of Manchester gig - the sound was crap but it's really a beautiful piece of film.

well all the gigs are filmed, so they would have a choice of what to use
i think before they have released a live dvd after the tour, which seems the done thing by most bands

The sound on the LDSMD blu-ray release is so much better than the dvd, DTS-HD 5.1 ftw

Is it official? Will they film ALL the stadium gigs in UK? And for a potential dvd-release?
It seems pretty obvious since this is their biggest tour of all time.

I would expect a live dvd to be released in November.
Probably one of these... Slane Castle / Wembley / Manchester

Some large artists release two dvd's from their latest tour.
I know U2 have done this on the last two tours.
The Rolling Stones usually release a dvd box set which holds 4 x concerts from their latest tour. Each concert is a different venue, (stadium, arena, music hall, etc...)
Be nice if Oasis could release something similar to what the Rolling Stones do. A box set with say for example....
Madison Sq Garden 2008 Amsterdam 2009 Rio Manchester 2009
I know the Rolling Stones charge approx £50 for their box sets. Expensive, but a nice collects item.

I have the one from The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang Tour. It is awesome, yes.
I really hope we will have a new live concert later this year - hopefully also on Blu-Ray!!!

well they could split the concerts, like with There and Then, some songs from Heaton Park/Slane and Wembley etc

The Rolling Stones also change their setlists a good deal more than Oasis do between shows, this tour we've had precisely two setlists, with what, 4 songs different between them? If they release two gigs from this tour they'd be almost identical shows. Just one proper complete stadium gig with blazing guitars and Liam's voice nice and clear. That's all I'm asking for

If I'd the choice I'd prefer to see some old gigs officially released with the new gig(s). Maybe a big box-set with a big gig from each tour included with loads of extras and never before seen footage and all that. Knebworth, G-Mex, Finsbury etc... along with one or maybe two of the new shows. I'd pay big money for that and I know I'm not the only one.
I know I'm asking a lot but it'd be monumental!

I am 100 % sure that when Oasis someday will be history - if they split up or if they die - then we'll have lots of material released. Both unreleased songs and live material. Believe you me!

Believe you me! lets not forget though that their label will hold the rights to most Oasis material. Big Brother may still be around after ther band split/finish etc so there'll still be restraints on what is released
