Does anybody know what gigs they're using the choir for? Are they still using them or was that one of Noel's infamous BS moments?

mmm probably wont see them now, Noel maybe hoping to use them at some point, maybe the next album?
althought as the Choir are London based, could be plausable that they could do Wembley

I think he mentioned they might try and work something out for the stadium gigs. The Crouch End Festival Chorus they used live last year has no news on their website, so either they're using a different choir or it's not happening.

They'll be playing the Roundhouse again for the iTunes thing eh? So maybe there.

Here's hoping they have them at Wembley. But it seems unlikely, now.
For my money, they should be using the choir at these gigs AND playing The Turning with them.

Yeah they should use the choir on The Turning as well as the ones they did last year - Wonderwall, I'm Outta Time and Don't Look Back In Anger I believe?

I think it was right before they started up I Am The Walrus at the Electric Proms last year, Noel thanked the choir or something like that, and said see you at Wembley next year.

Noel couldn't be fucked with the idea because he's a lazy bastard. Hellishly talented, but so fucking lazy.

I think that was in reference to the band not playing in England again until the stadium tour wasn't it? (I know that Heaton Park was the first gig of the tour but he was probably talking specifically about London).

I think that was in reference to the band not playing in England again until the stadium tour wasn't it? (I know that Heaton Park was the first gig of the tour but he was probably talking specifically about London). Yes, see you at wembley was said to the crowd at The Roundhouse. But in the next few days after the Electric Proms there was a news story saying Noel would like to use them at the stadium gigs and on the next Oasis record. Whether it was bullshit - either from Noel or the journalist reporting - who knows? Remember pre-the Electric Proms, Noel was talking up doing a version of The Stones "We Love You" with the choir which turned out to be a figment of Noel's imagination since it never materialised.

He didn't say they were using the choir. He said it had given him some ideas about the stadium tour.
