SHOW CANCELLED via SCHYO.com FFS. Everyone of those fans better be compensated with a re-scheduled date sometime this week. Must be so disappointing and enraging. Band's not to blame, but rather the fucking sound system staff.

They'll be lucky if there isn't a riot This. And if Liam and Noel encounter who's responsible? Fuck me, something would kick off...Noel must be so angry right now, and rightfully so.

via twitter
on the big screen there is a message saying that they are having tech problems with the generator
so it appears that people are still waiting there, and the big screen didnt tell people to start going home yet. Then again, that was posted on twitter 22 minutes ago, so who actually knows

From NME.com:
Oasis were forced to abandon the stage at their huge headline show at Manchester's Heaton Park tonight (June 4) due to technical difficulties.
At around 9pm (BST) the band began their set with 'Rock 'N' Roll Star', but the song was stopped due to sound problems.
The band headed off stage for around ten minutes to the sound of boos from the crowd.
They then returned and began to play 'Lyla' – although that song was cut short, again due to sound troubles.
Liam and Noel Gallagher and co left the stage again, while a message appeared on the stage screens declaring that the problems would be fixed as soon as technical staff could sort them out. The message explained that generator failure was causing the issues, while smoke could be seen emanating from the equipment.
The band are currently still backstage.
