It would seem that Zak and Noel got along a little bit better than the tabloids wanted us to believe
I liked Zak being with the band, but I do like Chris better.

Whitey, Starkey, and Sharrock are all great drummers. I'll take either any day.

Only a complete fuck wit would dismiss Zak as a good drummer!! did i say he's a bad drummer? only said Chris suits Oasis better.. Zak didn't and everybody should know that! He made the band sound dull! That's MY opinion and you should respect it thank you very much

all the matters is that Zak had a good time. Never did he say a bad thing about the boys. Seems like a good guy. Maybe not the best fit for the band but still one of the best drummers of his generation easily.

There is only one drummer for Oasis, and that in my opinion is Alan White.

Alan White all the way!
don't mind Sharrocks style as he looks very good to play with but live, it might as well be Lars Ulrich.
Using sticks the other way round adds at a certain level but live at stadium, its just a wall of reverb and bass drum.
Every Argentina or itunes I listen to, Yokohama reminds me how drumming was a part of the music, not to the pace the guitars played to.
I still hav

Alan was good on MG, BHN and SOTSOG, but on HC he was totally shit, you barely hear the drums.

Oasis was at the top of musical skill when Starkey was in the band.
Zak Starkey is quite possibly the greatest drummer alive today. He's the ONLY person in the world who can play like Keith Moon without just outright copying him. He also brought a level of legitimacy in regards to having skilled musicians to Oasis, and I really hate the fact he wasn't in the band longer.

Pretty sure that Alan brought that legitimacy followed by Andy and Gem. On top of which, Noel's guitar and singing skills really grew by leaps and bounds the past 10 years....
