^Nice find. Sounds obvious but I didn't notice before! I hope we can listen to Gem and Andy shouting "Yes, it is!" live Haha, I know - just noticed it the other day. Wonder who says it.

Hmm, sometimes I feel the voice singing "ooooooh" in The Cage sounds like Gem's also other people probably noticed this but there's a lot of Oasis videos where you can hear an acoustic guitar, yet they're mimming with eletric guitars (eg: D'You Know What I Mean?, Roll With It, Hindu Times, etc).
Edit: Also, in the beggining of Bonehead's Bank Holiday you can hear Bonehead say "I don't know, i'm mad fer it"

This is just a mix someone has created though, right? They could've easily just added the vocals Nope, it's 100% authentic...it's actually one of the sound channels of the SACD mix of (What's the Story) Morning Glory.

Just noticed that in Roll it Over (i consider it almost a lost song as no one ever mentions it and it never got played live!), that in the chorus - Liam obviously can't nail it in one take so he sings the "Roll it Over my soul"... and "and leave me here" parts seperately - you can hear the join/edit if you listen carefully! I always wondered how the hell he sang that with his voice so rubbish. and now we know.

Don't know if anybody mentioned but there's a rabbit in the cover of Heathen Chemistry! If you're talking about the bottom left hand corner, then holy shit, you're right! This thread is genious

In the clip of DYKWIM, at 1:25, when Liam sings 'Look into the wall', you can see 'Bud Zde' written on the wall.
It means "Be Here (Now)" in Czech!
And on the other building 'vite co tim ch' means 'D'You Know What I Mean'
Credits go to some Slovakian YouTuber who posted this..

That is, you can say what you want about his voice nowadays, but many consider early 2000 to be where Liam reached his prime regarding his voice. Remember the Jools Holland gig they did in 2000? I've seen many comments on the videos for Gas Panic! where people thought Oasis did playback there (Which of course they didn't). Oh and also, you're very right about Roll It Over being a lost Oasis track. One of the best on SOTSOG in my opinion. Shame it never was done live. Here's hoping Noel will dig it out for his upcoming gigs

Here's hoping Noel will dig it out for his upcoming gigs Strange that many consider the voice in 2000 to be his peak. I've been on Oasis newsgroups and forums since the late 90's, and it was widely regarded that Liam's voice had really taken a downward turn in that year. Opinion was divided more at first, especially after the 1999 Christmas shows in the US, but you can definitely tell his voice had gone right downhill in terms of range, and more importantly, tone. He sounded hoarse a lot of the time - and whilst there are some decent gigs from early on in the tour (Jools Holland he sounds quite decent, the Yokohama Arena show) - it was a slippery slope. I always thought that a big problem of Liam's in around 1997 was that he'd gone into overdrive with his shouting/singing - he was certainly nailing the notes for the most part and sounded a bit manic, but it will have destroyed his voice - as demonstrated by some of the gigs in 1998 (Australia gigs, Luna Park...). Since then he has developed that much deeper voice that he hasn't really strayed from too much.

Noticed just now, somebody shouts 'Shut Up' at the end of Magic Pie How have you only noticed that now? It's not exactly subtle...this thread is for things you think you're the only one who noticed.

The only time that Guigsy is ever heard to have uttered a word is on the There & Then interviews in between songs.

That's a cool fun fact. All this time I just assumed he was a mute.
He was the only member of Oasis who I've never heard speak. I don't even know what his voice sounds like.

'Take two sugars in the tea'. That's brilliant, haha. I also noticed in the live version of Headshrinker he changes lyrics to 'I take cocaine in the pouring rain and I got no fear'. I can't remember hearing that on the studio version.

Its not a big deal, and obviously a coincidence but I just noticed that the globe on the Definitely Maybe cover is showing Africa, which wasn't ever toured until '09. Kind of weird I thought considering they broke up soon after.

The guitar solo on Columbia (the one that comes before the yeahs) is the same as the second part of the solo in Listen Up, just in a different pentatonic.

Kind of weird I thought considering they broke up soon after. Didn't they do South Africa? I'm not sure about it though. Also, about the logo, they should have used the original one more often. It was only used on the Stop The Clocks album, suppose Don't Believe The Truth was similar but it's a cool logo.

I can't take full credit for this, as my brother told me about it, but at the end of an episode of "How I Met Your Mother," (s05e23) there's a scene where you can see a bunch of random people's emotional baggage represented as actual bags. Anyway, one guy has a bag that says "Still Likes Oasis." I thought it was funny.
