Pretty straightforward. I say No. Even if he tries to do it alongside Oasis, it will detract from the band and put the band in jeopardy. Not a good idea at all if we want Oasis to remain intact and fully committed.
So no. Noel, don't do it.

If going solo means releasing a solo album in between now and the next Oasis album, then fucking yes.

it shouldn't be just noel. it should be noel and friends like paul weller, ian brown, kasabian, and with dave sardy producing. otherwise it would pold on until the point when noel says he's had enough and we've seen something like 1-2 years been wasted on material we'll never hear.

No solo album....... focus on Oasis cos the records are awesome. I would totally prefer if Noel or Liam went solo AFTER Oasis break up or something. Doing in between is like what Thom Yorke did..... lame

Yes, in about 10 years time when Oasis are finished. Just focus on Oasis I'd say or even focus on getting Liam a throat op.

Theres nothing wrong with Noel going solo, I think the reason the band are doing such a big tour is because I think there going to have a longer rest than normal between albums, the summer shows in the uk I would have thought will pull in a shit load of money for the band. With Liam having a young family and Noel having Donovan and who knows more kids I think they might slow down with the touring.
My point being I dont think a Noel Solo album will slow oasis down I think there going to do that anyway. I would look at a solo album as a bonus and once Noels done it Liam will I dont care what he says now.....HE WILL!!
