I'm a Roll It Over fan. I like Falling Down, but I feel as if I've over the course of the past few albums, Noel consistently a similar sounding song. It's a logical progression, Sunday Morning Call/Where did it all go wrong/Part of the queue/Falling Down.
I love the build into the grandiosity of Roll It Over.

I'm stumped. I love both and each has its strengths so i'm having trouble choosing. One thing I'll say is that Roll It Over doesn't get the love it deserves so I'll end up choosing that.

I really don't see any connection between Roll it Over and Falling Down.
I like them both, but I went with Falling Down.

Seems like an arbitrary matchup to me. I have no idea why you're squaring them off....
But as everyone knows I do not like Falling Down and I certainly feel that Roll It Over is one of Oasis best songs ever, and certainly my favourite song off of SOTSOG

I guess its because they played back to back this morning in my itunes library. Also, I wanted to bring some attention to forgotten gem. I find the similiarity between the two in that they both start off real dark, have some darker lyrics, moody songs, then they both hit a pretty wide spectrum. I think Falling Down is missing something. There's no real payoff in the song. I like the payoffs in the remixes. I don't like FD as much as so many of the people in this forum do. It's a little too repetitive. |

Gotta go with Falling Down... Noel vocals are just brilliant all the way, definitely one of the top 5 since 2000....

I wonder how many people "love" Falling Down b/c Noel considers it one of his best songs? That song has never really done it for me.
