i am surprised that oasis is in the top50 of the most successful tours of all time. but from that 60 million all over or that 0.53 mio per show....how much do they get in their own pockets in the end?

Whoa thanks for that link. I never expected the DBTT tour to be that successful. I think that just says a lot about the popularity of Oasis around the world. Just look at the other names in that list. You have your typical huge, world famous artists and bands, i.e. the Stones, U2, Michael Jackson (and Janet), Madonna,Cher, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Springstein etc. How many other bands do you see up there from the past 20 years or so? Not many others, aside from robbie. Other interesting notes from that: They played to 2,000,000 people for the DBTT tour They played 113 shows over the two years. Visited 27 countries. I don't think they will play that many shows in total this time around, but all of those summer stadium shows will surely bag them a lot of money.

this will be the biggest tour if you think that they wll do U.S.A again..announce a handful of Austrailia, maybe N.Z dates..do a random east-european tour..i.e Russia. Liam said they'd go back to Korea in July 2009 didn he just say it on twitter. who knows how long the tour will last for..i dont want it to end

Like seeing the guys tour alot! But this may delay the next Oasis album.. I don't think we will see a new album before 2011...

1 album in 3 years is their standard pace since 2002 so I wouldn't call it a delay. It's nice to see that Liam's voice is holding up well, I'm actually rather surprised they are able to tour for this long.

Bit of a ways away, but gives us all time to prepare.. Or maybe we'll get lucky and they'll do a summer festival over here (lolla...maybe, possibly...) so the wait wont be as long.
