Don't Go Away because he wrote it when he thought his mum had cancer.

well it's a combination of the music and the lyrics, but I'll go
It's hard enough being alone Sitting here by the phone Waiting for my memories To come and play

All of Sitting Here In Silence.
It sounds positive in terms of melody, but on D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman: "The town where we're living, it's made you a man, but all of your dreams have washed away in the sand."
Talk Tonight: "Sitting on my own, chewing on a bone, a thousand million miles from home." "I'll never say that I won't ever make you cry, and this I don't know why."
And obviously, all of Sad Song.

Live Forever makes me cry like a malfunctioning fountain.
All songs could potentially make me cry. I blubbered all the way through the TCT album because I'm such a girl and omg so beautiful, etc.

"No I don't mind being on my own". Also, 'You ain't never gonna burn my heart out' Dunno what I was thinking here! Though the melody that encompasses the lyrics are quite sad, so I was probably thinking in those terms. I'd probably go for " My body feels young but my mind is very old"
and " Lately, did you ever feel the pain, in the morning rain, as it soaks you to the bone?"

And Rockin' Chair.

this is very easy...
its this lyric, it has to be
"I'll meet you on a day that never ends i'll greet you in a way that heaven meant you lay me down gently on the leaves you cover me over in my sleep"

One that came to my mind right now:
"And until you've repaid The dreams you bought for your lies You'll be cast away Alone under the stormy skies"
It's one of my favorite Oasis lyrics too.

"...falling down is all that I've ever known/Time will kiss, the World goodbye, falling down on all that I've ever know, it's all that I've ever known."
"...I cried the rain that fills the ocean wide/I tried to talk to God to no avail/Calling him in and out of nowhere, and said 'If you won't save me, please don't waste my time'..."
Those lines create quite a psychedelic atmosphere, but there's no denying that it suggests an apocalyptic event, which sets a bit of a depressing tone. However, that's what makes the song brilliant, so I cannot criticize its sort-of sad lyrics at all.

I don't mind being on my own That's about being content with being an atheist, though.

I don't mind being on my own That's about being content with being an atheist, though. I just never believe him, Liam has such angst in his voice when he sings it. And Noel definitely has issues with his 'atheism' because all his lyrics are about God
