Apparently I'm in the minority because I really don't see what's so special about this version. To me, the demo is SO much better. But that's probably just me.

Apparently I'm in the minority because I really don't see what's so special about this version. To me, the demo is SO much better. But that's probably just me. Like I said, you really really really have to be into music, like to the point that it's your passion and you'd really like to get into it professionally. When you're a producer, you have to put yourself in the musician's shoes and appreciate all kinds of sounds, it isn't just hip-hop, pop, or rock that's out there, there's a vast range of genres of music out there, some risky, some just not something you hear everyday. I really like this version because the production is great, (actually the DOYS production is better compared to some of the other albums, I tend to have ear ringing issues afterwards with like Definitely Maybe), it was something we didn't expect (everyone was moaning that it was too long, and that they probably couldn't bear it), the different variations of vocal Noel's original/little girl/lady, wasn't just a cut and paste job, and the different elements of audio clips/various instruments/and it's overall flow. It's not going to be something that everyone's going to rave about or even "get/like," but that wasn't the intention of it really, was it? It grabbed our attention though, and that's really all they could hope for. The demo is good, but there's way too much reverb! I know it's just a demo, but those things ought to be looked at as a final product to an extent, especially if you're putting it out to the public as a b-side to your single! He probably thought of another song and quickly put some finishing touches to it. Those Swollen Hand Blues sounds a lot better in comparison to it. The remixes overall are great though, great variety, not all extended/dub/crap repeats like on other artist singles. You have to admit they've chosen the right people to remix, instead of like Calvin Harris, Hot Chip, and Oakenfold like people have been releasing lately.

Downloading now, thanks for the link.
I bought the FD demo off Itunes this morning, but as someone said, the buble remix was no released for us in Canada and USA and the single are very very difficulty to find, especially these days when no shops stock them.
i've ordered my copy already but I wont want ot wait 3 weeks before hearing the thing!
Thanks.

Question to the vinyl owners - are all the parts of the bubble mix segued on the 12"? Or they're 5 separate tracks? 5 seperat tracks.. on side 1 it's tracks 1 & 2 then side 2 of the record are tracks 3-5 it's great.although we all prefer new b-sides i do think the remixes for falling down are excellent & well done.
