That's not 100% accurate. I think it has sold about 1,2-1,3 millions.

116,000 copies in the US? Wow, thats a pretty low figure compared to the succes of the tour

i told you: i dont reeally think that albumsales are that imoptant for the band or the popularity of the band....besides that: the most bands just get 1/8 of all income via albumsales these days

in terma of australia i am not very sure, its partly very close to the real sales....but anyway: i wonder how low sales of the this album were in australia
all is very close, but uk is aliitle bit to high as i read right now and so is it with australia
look at doys sales in ukmix.org

First of all sales in Australia are not near 78k. It's more like half of it, at best. And the UK figures are also too high. Something between 550-600k is correct.
The rest of the list is correct ( with a margin of 5-10% +- sales ).
Album has done very well in Japan and Italy :-)

Yeah, album sales for AUS are wrong. DOYS dropped out of the charts too fast for a figure like that.

I love how I give a figure and an actual website to back up that figure but people like Akara disregard it and make up some arbitrary number, while others like suckermc get it from Wikipedia.

The sales figures for the US and Canada are terrible considering that this time around there was supposed to be a lot more promotion for the album in the US. The album was barely even promoted in Canada unlike how previous albums were. No tv spots, no radio spots, barely anything in newspapers or magazines. I love how I give a figure and an actual website to back up that figure but people like Akara disregard it and make up some arbitrary number, while others like suckermc get it from Wikipedia. COME ON FFS I think that should give you a good indication about what people think of you around these parts.

I think it will make it to around the 2.5-3 million that DBTT got. That's good, but its an improvement. The only way they'll sell more than that is if they have a mega hit off the album. That could happen, but how long have been saying that this song is gonna be mega and bring Oasis back. I think 3.5 mill. tops.

1,6 million must be shipments. But I hope i'm wrong. I think it's something in the middle. It has sold more than 1,1 millions, but less than 1,6 I think.
The album is doing ok, considering the fact that album sales are almost at an alltime low. So we have to take that into consideration...

Maybe Falling Down will help its already been moved up from the cplaylist to the bplaylist on BBC one. So its already doing better than IOT.
