After seeing the rubbish chart position of I'm Outta Time here in the UK, perhaps Noel has come to his senses and realised that us diehard fans aren't going to waste our money on shitty remixes.
Perhaps he's realised that even the remixes have to be ballsy for us to care - hence the 22 minute Falling Down remix.
Many like myself boycotted buying I'm Outta Time and The Shock of the Lightning - I felt as if I was being ripped off to be honest.
So who's buying the Falling Down single? Thank goodness I can say I will - all I want is something worth buying with new material and a remix I actually want to hear.
It probably won't get to No. 1 but if it gets in the top ten, then I'll be happy.

Tell ya what stinks tho, the fact that he came to his senses before his single, and not before liams single...very unfair for liam...

You guys are putting way too much thought into this. Maybe, just maybe, this new b-side is even worse than the remixes? It was a good move to put the demo on though thats gotta be exciting. Studio outtakes are always exciting.

He should've noticed when The Shock Of The Lightning didn't reach #1. Granted, the song had been out over a month before it was released as a single, but with 5 consecutive first singles reaching #1 before it, he should've realized it sooner. It just seems like he has put more effort into this release than I'm Outta Time.

You should be. His latest run of b-sides was pretty poor. With that kind of attitude, how can you be excited for anything? There's always the possibility of being shit and always the possibility of being totally awesome. You can take your negativity and shove it. It's not like I'm going to kill myself over a bad Oasis song. If that was the case, I'd of done so plenty of times before. The fact that there aren't only remixes shows that Noel, at the very least, is doing something.

All I'm saying is I think people are putting way too much thought into this. I don't think Noel's "come to his senses". I think some of the remixes so far have been some of the best b-sides since HC. I.e the Chemical Brothers remix of Falling Down. There's no guarantee that the new b-side will be any good. And as I stated before I'm looking forward to the demo the most cos studio outtaks are always exciting - it gives an inside look on how the band was working. So you can take your "Noel is finally doing something, yippee" and shove it firmly up your backside.

Really? I thought all of the remixes have been pretty shit so far, so yeah, the effort of Noel's part is a small but welcome return.

Right!!!Put "Stop the clocks" or "Record Machine" on the B-side,......than you have a number 1!!!"Boy with the blues" would be the perfect B-side for Outta Time!!!......fuck all remixes!!!!

Boy With The Blues and I Can See For Miles should have been the b-sides on TSOTL, instead of on some rip-off boxed set.
Where did I'm Outta Time chart in UK? It would have done considerably better if it had original b-sides.
Not many fans give a fuck about remixes. We want solid new Oasis songs.

I don't see the point of b-sides. In America for DOYS they haven't needed them. SOTL went to number 12 on the Modern Rock Chart, and they're about to chart with I'm Outta Time on the Modern Rock Chart with 320 spins. So if I'm Outta Time chart which it prob. will in America then those will be the first time Oasis have had two singles charting on the same album since BHN. So with that kind of momentum Falling Down should cart really hgh on the Modern Rock chart considering very few people in America have heard it. To them it will sound fresh and chart high. They really don't need b-sides.

Lol, my argument probably doesn't hold water then, as I've listened to that song once because it's lousy. Bring on the remixes!

Shit anyway, really.
Apart from Cloudburst - which is better than Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe the Truth and Dig Out Your Soul combined.
Zoink!

Stop Crying Your Heart out, as good as it is compared with the avalanche of shit that followed, is a bit saccharine.
Got bored of The Turning after a handful of listens. It isn't utterly shit, but uses glossy production to mask its lack of inspiration. No guitars.
Born On A Different Cloud!? Come on.
Cloudburst = loads of awesome guitars and a life affirming tune. Exactly what Oasis used to be about.
I need shades cos the sun is blinding.
