I absolutely agree with the second portion, but with the first, I have to disagree.

I am not an OLD fan as I've only been into Oasis since 2002. I think that Oasis were amazing on HC and DBTT which were both hyped. DOYS is not impressive, and whether or not it's hyped is a non-issue. It's just not very good.

I hope that the next album will be amazing, but as I said - no expectations - or low expectations. I also didn't have expectations for DOYS. I just don't wanna get my heart broken!

Yeah, they'll never reach the heights of the mid 90s cultural fame again, but they are very capable to make another album so good as MG and DM.

Oasis need to make a new album with 3 hit singles and a more experimental sound approach to get the USA midia attention once again.

Another MG/DBTT-ish sound wold be so disappont.

depresso? eh DOYS is just more grungy/dirty/bluesy than the oasis we know. I can't wait for it. There's nothing like a classic oasis album or song.

I think that DOYS is dark in a way that Oasis haven't really done before. There is pretty much nothing on the album that makes me feel good listening to it with the exception of Bag It Up, WFTR, TSOTL, and TBWTL
