February or March most likely
As for what song will be released, Id put my money on Falling Down. Its already charted in some countries, and most will agree that its one of the better tracks on the album. Plus, they havent released a Noel-sung song as a single yet, which they're bound to do. Waiting for the Rapture would be another candidate, although Id think that theyd pick FD over that. Everyone seems to be pulling for The Turning as a single, but the fact that they're not playing it live makes me think its not gonna happen, which rules out BIU as well. The only other viable single candidate would be TBWTL, although I think theyd release a Noel-sung track before the released a Gem or Andy track.
as for bsides... i doubt we'll get any new ones. Maybe IOT's failure will get the message across tho...

You're right. Let's hope that they'll start to see things a bit differently now after what happened to I'm Outta Time. The single even failed to make top 10. I mean, can't they spare at least one or two Liam songs as b-sides?

Hahaha..... well, here's my take
The only logical choice for single is Falling Down. They haven't done a Noel-sung one yet, they've also already released a song not written by Noel, and there's NO way that Gem or Andy are going to get a single, at least not for the foreseeable future, as it were.
Makes sense, dunnit?

judging from the resent trend im pretty sure falling down will be the 3rd single (epic song which is noel sung i.e. sunday morning call, little by little, let there be love). and they play it live. what im worried about is that they're only going to release 3 singles.
as for the bsides argument, there are way too many tunes that noel is never going to put on the next album/his solo album which could be released as bsides. as well liam has apparently wrote more songs than all the other members in the band so why don't they just take a pile of his alright songs and record them as bsides or album tracks?

Well when you really think about it, if Liam hadn't of skiped out they would of had Boy With The Blues, I believe In All, Ain't Got Nothin', and Get Of your High Horse Lady and those would have been their B-Sides. Then they would of had I Wanna Live A Dream (In Your Record Machine) and Come On (It's Alright). So really they did plan to have b-sides, but Liam skiping out only gave them a shortage of b-sides and you can't ask them to buy studio time just to record some more b-sides for us. They've basically given away great songs for 14 years when a lot bands aren't willing to make one b-side and now you get mad when they've decided that can't give you anymore! WOW! That sounds like a lot of spoiled bitchy ass fans. It was only a matter time that them not giving b-sdies anymore would happen. No one makes money off singles and most people just download the b-sides illegally. Theres no reason to keep putting out something that no one will buy when you have to pay for studio time to make it. The only reason you would do it is if you want to please some spoiled fans who can't go through life without a b-side from Oasis. They shouldn't have to learn a lesson the only lesson they should learn is how quickly some so called "fans" will bail on them if they don't get exactly what they want.

Most likely going to be Falling Down around February. I don't know if they'll go with a fourth single but they could do Turning.
I hope they don't go for a Double A side + a remix for the next single.

I could definitely see Falling Down as the third single, without a doubt. It's about time to see a Noel sung single in there, although I would also love to see TBWTL as a single but I highly doubt they'd release a Gem song before they'd do a Noel song. Other people above said they doubt Oasis would ever release a Gem or even an Andy single, but I think that if Noel believes its a good song then they would do it. He's not that big of an asshole to deny it to either one of them just because they are not a Gallagher.

Basically, fans are just disappointed because they know the band has the songs done... but just dont seem to want to release them. I mean, originally DBTT was going to be a double album..... what the hell happened to all those other tracks? and how about those unfinished songs partially heard on LDSMD? and songs like Stop the Clocks and Revolution Song still havent been properly released, despite the bands praise for them. In addition, the bands mentioned songs like The Roller, The Magic Can't Be Right, Freaky Teeth, etc. and the bands recent track record indicates that its likely none of these songs will ever be heard. |

I think Falling Down would be the next single. Haven't they already filmed a promo video for it?
To be honest, I would rather have Wating For The Rapture as a single, as that one is my favorite on Dig Out Your Soul at the moment. Let me just say, that I don't mind Falling Down as a single either, as it is a very good song.
The Turning for a summer single would be fucking awesome!

And they should release The Turning, but they won't, 3 singles is all we'll get IMO

They'll release Waiting For The Rapture.
Falling Down has already been released on iTunes and what-not so I doubt they'll release it again - seems stupid.
What they should do though IMO is release Bag It Up and The Turning as singles and kind of "re invent" the album.

I think they should release a summer EP with Record Machine and Come On, It's Alright. They should release it just in time for the Wembley or Heathon Park gigs. It would generate some extra attention in the summer. It would also make up for the lack of real b-sides this time.

i will love "Bag it up" to be the third single! real rocker, great song
falling down its a good song, but kinda reminds me "part of the queue" it doesnt have that single feeling to it!
i dont know, just saying, and for God Sake, put at least 3 bsides songs, new ones!
